My place is close to a lake, downtown Great Barrington, skiing, moviehouse, live performing arts. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
additional spaces as well as house with four bedrooms upstairs and one small bedroom/laundry room on first floor. there are two porches with futons and renovated little house out back with a with double bed and sofa so in warm weather these add many sleeping spaces.
so altogether two 3 season porches
And 2plus season extra little house with double four poster and extra little sofa
Other things to note
lovely garden and outdoor space to relax in. large back porch overlooking the garden. everyones favorite for relaxing.

Wow what a find! Her place is in a great location, and has SO much character. Amazing art, really well equipped kitchen... We stayed with a group of friends and explored the surrounding area and came back home each night to eat dinner and relax. We picked the perfect place!
Jeri was super easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. The garden is beautiful and the location is great.
Lovely host and extremely responsive. Great weekend getaway
Jeri's place is perfect for a summer vacation: the screened porch is lovely, and so is the backyard. The house is a bit old but has all the basics, plus plenty of bedrooms. The location is amazing: we walked to the lake with a beach almost every day, and we also walked to the town. Great Barrington is fantastic, and the entire area has a lot to offer in the summer: outdoor concerts, blueberry picking, hiking, swimming, etc. For a couple with two young kids, this was a great way to get away from NYC in the summer. Jeri is kind and quick to respond. Highly recommended!
Nice home. A bit compartmentalized and had a few cleanliness issues specific to the bathroom.
This is a large house in a good location in Great Barrington. Unfortunately it’s quite well lived in and the level of clutter makes the kitchen difficult to use. We arrived to find many bags of recycling on the porch. So not ideal for neatnicks but a good place for a large group that needs somewhere to crash.
Jeri's place was very great. I loved the history and some of the old decor. I was meeting up with a college friend and all of our kiddos. This was the perfect halfway point for us. We enjoyed sipping wine and reminiscing and getting caught up. Lots of room for everyone in our group. As others have noted, the place definitely seems to be lived in... so it is not as clutter-free as a hotel would be, but to me that just added to the charm & coziness.
Good place for a getaway with a large group.
Comfortable house, great for large group! Great porch. 2 beds upstairs very firm.
Jeri's home is very cozy, inviting, and well situated. Almost all of the restaurants and hiking destinations we visited during our stay were less than a 20 minute drive, with the main drag being only a few minutes' drive. And Jeri was kind enough to provide some great local recommendations. Some reviewers commented on the amount of stuff in the house, but we found the home charming, with the many different books and knicknacks. Plus even though the home was older, the heat and hot water worked very well and we were quite comfortable in early November. Because it was colder we didn't take advantage of the outdoor seating, but it looked lovely, and we hope we can return at some point during warmer months.
