This property was originally built in 1896.  Over the years it had had a number of additions.  We purchased the home in 2005 and began renovations that included removing seven of the additions, then putting a basement under the home and then rebuilding more than half of the present main floor.  Some of the  logs have been shipped in from various parts of the country while many of the logs in the home were obtained from trees on site and from neighbors.
