The condo is a short walk away to many lonely beaches including to one of the longest white sand beach in Hawaii. The snorkeling and shelling at our favorite beach is great and there is a good chance you will be the only people there and it is only about a 15 minute scenic walk from the condo. We have an ice chest and beach chairs and beach towels available for your use. The beach in front and a little to the right of the Condo Complex is an excellent surfing and boogie boarding area. The beach on the left of the Complex is a rocky area where seasonally huge waves crash and spray. The owners will hold bonfires on this beach and everyone is welcome. There is also a cookout where people attending bring their own meat for the grill. Everyone watches the sunset together, and fun is had by all.
We have tried very hard to make sure our guests have everything they need for a wonderful Hawaiian getaway and although we do not live there, we have an on island contact who is available if you need anything.
Molokai has the longest white sand beach in Hawaii, the highest sea cliffs in the world, a very small population, wonderful snorkeling and amazing weather. The views from our property are stunning and our toughest decision every day is to decide which beach we want to walk to or what do we have for dinner? The freshest fish, the best beef or local venison we have ever tasted. Where else could we find this combination but the west end of Molokai.

We were here for almost 2 weeks. This is a great little condo. SUPER fast wifi for all those gorgeous photos to upload to your social media sites to make your friends jealous! Has just about everything you could want in your home away from home. It's got a wonderful plantation home feel (but in a condo!). You won't be disappointed in this selection!!
My husband and I stayed here for two nights and we wished we could have stayed longer. The condo is beautiful and had everything we needed. The views from the condo are amazing and filled with palm trees, green grass, and blue water. It was a very relaxing weekend. I highly recommend this place if you want to get away from everything or a romantic weekend.
My husband and I spent five glorious days in Molokai and immediately fell in love with the island. Living on Oahu, we really appreciated that Molokai has NO traffic, not even a traffic light! Peace & serenity rule the day. If you are one who needs to be entertained and live for the nightlife, Molokai may not be for you, but if you enjoy peace and quite, relaxation, beautiful secluded beaches, amazing sunsets, eating in (there are few restaurants), friendly people and the great outdoors, Molokai delivers! A sweet condo was our home away from home. It was tastefully decorated, super clean and very well equipped with kitchen, bath, beach & bedding items and our bed was amazingly comfortable. We loved eating on the lanai, enjoying the ocean view as well as the peaceful surroundings. The community grill (propane) is right outside the back door and it's a great place to meet your neighbors. You can find grass fed beef to enjoy on the grill as well as great organic produce not far from town. But as nice as the condo is, the owners, Randy & Carol, are even nicer. They love Molokai and it shows. We were so blessed by their warm hospitality & overwhelmed by their kindness. Having access to thier Jeep rental was also a huge plus. Thank you Randy & Carol for a memorable vacation! We hope to be back soon.
A very clean, quiet and comfortable condo with a beautiful decor! The bedroom is romantic, the living room is relaxing and the lanai is amazing! I love the bamboo kitchen cupboards too! And did I mention how comfortable the bed is? Carol and Randy were very eager to make our stay an unforgettable one ... and that they did! My husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you so much!!! "My Sunshine" made exploring Molokai easy and fun! I was surprised and glad that I could rent a jeep from the owner and not have to rent through the rental car company. Carol and Randy even surprised me with an upgrade for my birthday! Ask if they have a vehicle available to rent during your stay. Molokai is so quiet and peaceful you are sure to be able to wind down and relax. Papohaku Beach is just down the road and is so beautiful with hardly anyone there. The water is crystal clear and refreshing. Asking a local provides good information on where to eat if you want to eat out but the kitchen is stocked really well if you want to buy groceries and just eat in. I did find going through VRBO painful. I do not like how their site is set up but Carol was able to help me through it when I needed to.
While the whole trip was more laid back than we expected, it was great to get away from Oahu and relax. The condo was well done, had great internet service and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The pool was a little walk away, but the scenery along the way made it worth the extra steps. Also, the extra bonus of the Jeep made it so much fun to explore the island. We would definitely stay here again!
This was our first trip to Molokai. We have been to Kauai many times and wanted to see another island. Molokai is a true Getaway, no traffic no noise very few people. The West end has beautiful beaches and great weather. The condo is a ground floor unit. Everything you need is there. Great location for walks and strolls. Carol the owner is great and very helpful. The drive for supplies and gas is about 20 minutes. There is a small store in the property. We will return, Molokai is for me what Hawaii should be like. Visit Molokai and relax it is a beautiful place.
Every little detail has been carefully thought out, from the car to the kitchen cupboards, with very useful advice and directions from Carol, the owner. Extra touches included closet moisture-absorbing sachets, a very much appreciated feature as it was quite damp when I was there (in mid-January). All I had to do was to focus on my vacation, sit back and enjoy the view, rather than worry about missing or failing items in the condo or the car. The resort has beachfront condos with unobstructed views of the sea. However, the roaring and rumblings of the crashing waves at night made me glad I was staying further back. All in all, a perfect base to explore Molokai or just relax and do nothing.
We didn't know what to expect in Molokai. Both the island and this condo were wonderful. The unit is very nicely decorated and equipped. In fact, it has everything you will need. We have stayed in condos before and often they are minimally supplied with the basics, both in terms of cooking utensils, towels, dishes, etc. in addition, some are cleaned out of basic condiments, spices, cooking oil, etc., that are often left by prior guests. Not here. I love the fact that there were plenty of the basic spices, even mustard and butter. And beach towels and everything else you could need. If you want a sterile hotel room, stay at a hotel. If you want a place that feels like a second home, this is it. We loved sitting on the patio, which is very private. It is equipped with a table and four chairs as well as to comfortable chaises. We made dinner here every night and had every pot, pan, utensil, and dish we could want. The bed is very comfortable, as is the furniture. While located about 20 miles from e main town, it's an easy drive as there is no traffic on Molokai. The Friendly Market carries everything you need. We even got some fresh mahi mahi there. Carol , the owner was most accommodating before our stay. And we arranged to rent their jeep, which was parked at the airport when we arrived. Couldn't have been easier. We also met Julie, who cleans the place. She is great and filled us in on local things to do and history. Make sure you make the drive to Halawa valley on the other end of the island. This is a wonderful place to get away fro the crowds of Oahu and Maui. Mahalo!
We had a wonderful one week stay at this beautiful condo at Kepuhi Beach resorts on the west end of Molokai. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals from a rice cooker to all the spices and even a Brita water pitcher. Carol has truly thought of everything and has the place very well equipped. The outdoor gas grills are just a few yards away and it's a short walk to the pool and ocean. We enjoyed all our meals on the patio with wonderful views of the ocean beyond the palm trees. Wild turkeys and peacocks entertained us. The condo is nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves and then being awakened at sunrise by the many birds of Molokai. If you are looking for a fabulous place to relax and get away from it all, this is it!
Carol has recently remodeled this condo with lovely shades of soft greens, beautiful granite counter tops, bamboo kitchen cabinets, large LG washer and dryer, plus a cushy big bed with soft linens and tropically appointed living room furniture. The rolling landscape is well cared for, and the swimming pool offered a refreshing late afternoon dip. Carol was kind and helpful in meeting our needs.
We enjoyed nine days in paradise at this lovely condo. From the very comfy bed to the well equipped kitchen, we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We love the island, but it's hard to keep things updated and looking good because it is somewhat remote. Not true of this gem of a condo, the owners had it beautifully decorated and stocked with all the amenities of a high-end resort! Thank you Carol and Randy for all your help and for making us feel so welcome at your wonderful condo!
place was beautiful/clean. We wanted to go back.Carol was very helpful. Thanks
This was our first trip to Molokai and the last of the major Hawaiian islands to visit. The condo has a great ocean view, arguably a better view than some of the Hales (buildings) closer to the water. Turkeys strolled the grounds every day which was entertaining. As other guests have indicated, Molokai has the best beaches on the west side within convenient walking or driving distance from this condo. The beach in front of the condo was not a swimming beach while we were there as there were high waves during our visit. We ended up going to Dixie Maru beach further south which was more protected for swimming. There is also a walking path along the ocean accessible from the condo complex which heads north to another beach closer to the Paniolo Hale condos. Further north through the old golf course is one of the most beautiful beaches on Molokai, Make Horse Beach. The last day we were there we walked to Make Horse which we'd like to visit the next trip to Molokai. There were only 2 people on that beach, perfect for solitude. Carol was very friendly during the whole rental process and during our visit. We also rented a Jeep through Carol which was more reasonable than renting through Alamo, the only major rental car company at the airport. The added bonus is all you have to do is walk from the airport terminal to the vehicle already parked at the airport parking lot. The condo had everything you would need for your stay, including a wine fridge. Like other guests have said, the bed was comfortable. This condo also has the added bonus of having an LG washer and dryer in the unit. We also used the gas grill located just down the hill from the condo. There is a store on the grounds, but expect to pay higher prices. We browsed the store but didn't end up buying anything there. We shopped at Friendly Food Market in Kunakakai before heading to the condo. There is also a store in Mauna Loa, which offered similar prices to the Kunakakai markets. We heard some negative reviews about visiting Molokai before our visit about how the locals treat visitors. All of the locals we met on Molokai were very friendly and perhaps more so than on some of the other islands. Also recommended is the drive to Halawa Valley on the east side. It is like a mini drive to Hana and much more doable. We also visited the Kalaupapa lookout on the north side of the island. We'd highly recommend booking a condo through Carol!
I stayed at this condo on Molokai in June, 2016. The owner, Carol, is very helpful with everything from car rentals, how to get to the island, beaches and restaurants. The condo is comfortable and well-stocked and a perfect place to disconnect from everything. Feed the turkeys in the morning from the patio and listen to the wildlife or look at the amazing stars at night! Because the island is so remote, the stars are bright-- we saw 5 shooting stars in about a 15 minute period. The best restaurant we found on the island is The Cookhouse. Great food, don't let the lack of ambiance discourage you! Also see the locals' ukulele playing on Tuesday mornings at Coffees of Hawaii. I would only recommend this to people who want to come home thoroughly relaxed!
Excellent in every way. Open floor plan with great decorations, clean and well stocked, wonderful back patio with palm trees and ocean views. Helpful owners! Very pleasant experience! Would definitely stay here again! Loved it!!!
If you are looking to truly get away, and have a dreamy, comfortable place to stay near beautiful beaches, this is a great place to stay. The unit was clean, cozy and fully appointed with everything you would need. Carol and her husband were so helpful and we feel lucky that they opened up their home to us. We definitely plan on going back and staying there again. I would recommend this unit to couples who like "glamping". The remoteness of western Molokai with the comfort of a deluxe condo was just perfect. We also rented a jeep from the owners, and it was so easy to pick up and return. If anyone has any specific questions, I would be happy to answer. You can email me at email@example.com.
Good space. Nice kitchen and well supplied. Overlooked a beautiful common area. Would have been nice to have had a screen from the living room to the lanai. Couldn't leave the door open as the birds and turkeys would have made themselves at home in the condo! A lot of deferred maintenance is needed to several of the other buildings; unit off the parking lot seemed to be condemned. Responsive owner.
The condo was spotless, well-equipped kitchen/bath, and nicely located on the Kaluakoi property. Great breezes in the afternoon, perfect views off the lanai. Courteous and responsive owners make this property a 5-star vacation spot. Hope to return soon!
Great stay, short walk to beautiful beach. Got terrific produce from Kumu farm, fish from capitan Tim at Molokai fish & dive, fantastic grass feed beef at Molokai livestock co-op. Property has nice grill area. Had fun scuba diving with turtles (thanks Danny & Gabe)and off road trips in jeep to some beautiful spots! Carol is a wealth of info on Molokai!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carol and Randy's condo on Molokai! Although it wasn't "centrally located" on the island, we knew that when we booked and chose a place that was more remote just for a nice get-away. This was the third out of four islands (Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, and Maui) that we were visiting on this three-week trip. The other three were more activity-oriented, so this condo afforded us a relaxed and more secluded spot than our other accommodations. It was well-stocked and tropically furnished. Since I was originally born and raised on Oahu, but now live on the mainland, it was nice to come "home" and be surrounded by my island influences. That is one reason we love Molokai! It is more like Hawaii used to be! Thank you for a lovely spot.
The unit was as advertised - and as stated in other reviews - clean, well-maintained, and with a great assortment of kitchen gadgets and cooking items. The view from the lanai was gorgeous so we spent a good part of our stay just relaxing on the loungers and soaking up the scenery. The nearby beaches are virtually deserted so they became a favorite haunt in the evenings to just sit and watch the swells roll in. I have no qualms in recommending this condo to others who are looking for a vacation away from the crowds.
It was great! Would certainly stay here again if we ever come back to Molokai.
Leaving tomorrow, and have so enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. The kitchen and bathroom provisions are such that one has everything they need for their stay. Spices, condiments and baking supplies were all included. Lovely linens and towels, and Carol is a most talented designer. The furnishings and decor are both lovely and super comfortable. Even the most courteous vodka on ice in the freezer awaited us. One hint we'd offer renters is to use extreme care when moving the drapery in the bedroom which is over the door to the lanai. The drapery rod is very heavy and wooden and topples down on you when moving the curtain of just this one area. My head and hand can attest to it's heaviness..lol. Children should not touch it. Likely best to carefully take it down altogether during your stay to avoid such accidents or at least during the day. The lanai offers endless views of a beautifully maintained lawn and garden area right down to the powerful, beautiful surf. We had fun feeding the birds and wild turkeys who were very entertaining. The jeep was in excellent shape and appeared brand new. It was so convenient to rent during our stay. Be sure to visit the general store in the interesting little ghost town of Mauna Loa. Saves a much longer trip to town, or the little store here on the property, though more pricey, offers many items. Very friendly and hard working grounds staff and security. Mahalo Carol and Randy for the best stay we could have hoped for.
Excellent place to stay. The west end of Molokai is very nice. Awesome sunsets and uncrowded beaches. Life moves at a slower pace here, just right. Randy and Carols condo made the stay perfect. They had a little bit of everything here. We'll be back!
This condo was a perfect match to our wants and needs of finding a great secluded quiet beach and paradise. Getting the vehicle and into the condo were absolutely hassle free. We did have a slight adjustment from always being in A/C to the ever present trade winds, windows open/fan flow. We were able to cook most meals in the condo and found adequate kitchen essentials available to do so. A Romantic Sunset at the beach at the end of each day was the Highlight of our stay. We often felt we were the only ones in the resort, beach or pool...probably because we were. Loved discovering the island, used the suggested jeep and a handy double sided laminated map almost daily. We were able to venture to sites off road/4wheel drive only, that we might not have other wise known were on the island...like the deserted beach and port that is now only used for a 43 mile outrigger race to Oahu... Loved the music at the coffee plantation and food and conversations from Paddlers Inn and restaurant. Meeting locals at the Saturday Market or Mailing a coconut from Hoolehau P.O. helped seal the deal for an awesome Hawaiian experience. All in part from suggestions of the condo owners...Although our fav became the evenings at the beach for a nice dip, drink and relax to watch as the sun slowly descended behind the clouds and horizon....the hardest part of the trip was leaving the beach each evening....The water for the shower is magical and not sure why!...and I have never slept better...The bed and pillows were awesome. In fact we pulled the sheets off to find out the mattress brand. I'm not telling, you'll have to find out for yourself. The condo was a perfect match for us and the island of Molokai.
Property is well-maintained. Excellent grounds crew. We love the quiet, simple, contemplative spirit. Not for folks desiring multiple concessions or high energy night life.
This was the perfect size condo for two people. The furnishings were nice, and it was decorated to match the environment. The bathroom was nice and large, especially the shower when comparing it to another unit we had rented previously. We appreciated the washer and dryer along with the supplied laundry soap. Some of the evenings were windy with a slight chill so we got good use out of the extra blankets while watching TV. Since we always do most all our own cooking when we vacation, I loved the kitchen with all the cabinet storage and decent sized refrigerator. The appliances all worked well and was impressed with the powerful blender as tropical fruit smoothies are a breakfast staple when we come to the island. Only two minor wishes and that would have been for a wire whisk and pizza cutter. Other items we found very useful were the comfortable folding beach chairs, lots of beach towels and soft coolers for us to use. Thank you so much for thinking of all those little added extras. We very much enjoyed our stay and will hope to rent this unit again on our next visit.
My wife and I spent a week in Molokai for our 10th wedding anniversary. Carol the owner was so friendly and helpful in arranging everything we needed! Would highly recommend renting from Carold
We were very pleased with our accommodations while visiting Molokai and thrilled to be on the west side of the island where it's very quiet.
Great place to recharge batteries. Little over 7,000 people on the island so a lot different than Oahu. Location was good however a real shame that the golf course has been unkept for many years. Grounds are well maintained with great BBQs. Unit was well set out with all ameneties with nicely stocked kitchen. Daily visits by the locals ie Peacocks and turkeys was a treat. Pool was a bonus as the surf could be dangerous. Locals were friendly and accomodating. Having a car makes it easier to get around.
