About the Property
This is a beautiful private one bedroom suite with its own entrance and a lot of thoughtful extras located in the amazing Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Take your morning coffee and your beloved dog for a stroll in the oceanfront park just across the street from your comfy suite. You will also enjoy relaxing in the amazingly beautiful half acre yard -- something is always in bloom and your hostess, Juanita, is an avid gardener. The space Our half acre location is very private with an amazing ocean view and an empty forested area on one side and a hugh laurel hedge on the other - this is what attracted us to the location as we treasure the privacy and the quiet treed surroundings. The suite is very comfy and the outdoor fish pond area is the perfect place to have a cup of tea and read a good book. Guest access The suite is at ground level and the entrance as well as all the doorways are wheelchair accessible. Interaction with guests I plan to give my guests total privacy, but certainly if anything is needed you can text me on my cell and I will do my best to respond as soon as possible. I will be more than happy to, for example, bring down a garlic clove or a bit of something that you might have not remembered to bring along. Other things to note We have two kayaks that we will make available as well as a canoe and one set of wheels to get them down to the ocean which is very close by, and as our location is across from Denman Island it is often more calm and protected. You could canoe down to the Denman Ferry Terminal for a latte at the lovely little specialty grocery shop, Weinberg's, and pick up some fresh world famous Fanny Bay oysters at the amazing fresh Seafood Shop. You could also easily walk down as it is about a two minute car ride so very close by. |

A lovely stay!. Very friendly hosts. Fresh garden vegetables, beautiful yard , nice location near the ocean and walking trails. Treated me and my (sometimes crazy ) dog like family. Couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommended.
Comfy bed in a quirky spot, only a short walk from the sea. Juanita was a warm, welcoming, responsive host.
We really liked our stay. The hosts are really respectful and very nice. I am definitely going back there when I am going back in the area!
