OCEAN FRONT LUXURY 3B/3B PENTHOUSE CONDO WITH PANORAMIC OCEAN VIEWS

From the patio deck you see the wide expanse of the sea to the thin line of the horizon – an amazing view. Below is the board walk separating the beach from the condo. When not gazing at the sea, you can watch runners, bicyclists, and beachgoers pass by. We stayed here 3 nights to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and overall had an excellent stay. Only some small housekeeping issues - we had a little bit of clean up when we arrived, and noticed no screens on the windows/sliders, flies in the kitchen area, and no air conditioning (none advertised and not really needed due to ocean breeze). These issues were taken care of, and the owner gave a credit. Due to the housekeeping issues, I am rating four stars, but the overall experience was five stars. The gem of this property is the exceptional beach and ocean views from the patio, living room, and dining areas. The furniture was comfortable and good in condition. The glass paneled patio railing, immaculately clean and well maintained, made for a stunning view. The owner was accommodating, responsive, and fair. GREAT LOCATION! Very spacious. With the exception of a few finishing details, the location was clean with many amenities.

We stayed in this great condo for a couples weekend away. You can't beat the location. Super safe, right on the ocean and boulevard and walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Dave, the owner, is very responsive and helpful. Pictures also give a very accurate preview of what the décor looks like. A great find!

The unit was comfortable and clean. The biggest attraction, though, is the location and views. Superb! Playing dolphins every day and gorgeous sunsets....plus people watching. It was nice to be on the 2nd floor so the boardwalkers were not right in your face when walking by, too. We very much enjoyed our stay. One comment I would make, though, is that it would be nice to have a notebook in the unit with walkable restaurant options along or near the boardwalk. We found some good and some not so good restaurants, but we had to walk a lot to discover them. Too bad I can't remember any of the names of them now. Also, a things to do section. The 101 Things to Do in San Diego magazine we picked up was not really that helpful.

Love this spot - very clean and location is amazing!

Dave was a great host. He greeted us when we arrived. We only contacted him with a question once during the week and he responded immediately. The condo was very nice. We went with our daughter and family so there were 4 adults and 3 children. We had plenty of room. The living room has all windows facing the ocean and a large deck off the living room. Despite being on the boardwalk we had very few issues with noise. Dave has a large 2 car garage that fit (tightly) a midsize SUV plus a full size pickup. It was stocked with beach chairs and boogie boards too. We highly recommend this place. Thanks for a memorable stay, Dave.

This property exceeded our expectations! Dave was great to work with and we would definitely go back to this same spot! The location and patio are absolutely top notch for mission beach. Kitchen with the essentials, a very nice grill on the patio, and 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds - what more could you ask for! Being right above the boardwalk was better than being on it because you can see everything but be just above the busyness. I would waste time trying to save a couple bucks and not be ocean side, this is a much better experience. Thanks Dave and Mission Beach for the great time!

The view is awesome! Great ocean breeze with boogie boards and beach chairs in the garage, no need to bring your own. We had one issue with the internet not working and the owner jump right on fixing the issue and got it all fixed up. We will be staying again in the near future.

You could not ask for a better location to enjoy Mission Beach/Bay! Absolutely beautiful view from your patio. The owner was fantastic with communication and getting you to the property. So close to all the entertainment and parks in the area. Definitely miss the ocean breeze that we were spoiled with.

We had a great weekend. We spent almost all our time on the balcony watching the ocean (and the dolphins) and the people going by. It’s a very impressive view. The bedrooms were comfortable; the kitchen was small but functional. The furnishings are not super posh, but it’s what you’d expect for a beach rental. Having a garage to park in was also a nice plus. Dave was very responsive, as well. We had a really good time.
