We are taking any and all precautions to prepare our home for our rental guests and OUR OWN FAMILY. WE ARE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COUNTY HEALTH OFFICIALS TO KEEP OUR HOME VACATE FOR AT LEAST 48 HOURS BETWEEN CLIENTS. After a five hour court hearing, the Judge took information from both sides issued a ruling that STR's in HOA can apply for STR permits. Our house is NOT in a HOA. The house was very clean and organized. The owner was extremely helpful when I had questions. The backyard was like being at a resort. I would highly recommend this house for a vacation
Jerry was an amazing host and the place is spotless. The home is laid out perfectly for the separation of space and privacy of guests. The pool/spa area is very private, tropical and relaxing not to mention a large space. It will accommodate outdoor sunbathing, dining, shaded areas for the sun shy and BBQ cooking. The kitchen is large, stocked and well organized. Located in an area of celebrity homes this is a fun and historically interesting choice, particularly given that most of Jerry's guests return year after year and keep the home pretty booked up. The guest Casita is great for a 4th BR, nanny, grandparents and more! It was the perfect choice for our needs. Thank you.
This house was better than we expected. It was completely stocked with everything you would need for a getaway vacation. It is centrally located within minutes to restaurants, shopping, movies and outdoor activities. We will definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to our friends seeking a special place to stay in the desert.
My family came to spend some down time together in a place nicer than our own (but not a hotel). Casa del Sol gave us that chance to reconnect between ourselves and extended family; the property was so incredibly well appointed that we wanted for nothing. The owner was incredibly hospitable, showing us the property and demonstrating how all of the amenities worked; we considered ourselves fortunate for having his insight. Overall, I'm counting the days until I get to return.
Actually exceeded my expectations - which were high, given the pictures. It was my best friend's 50th birthday and the owner actually put up some (very tasteful) birthday decorations in the dining room. Unexpected and delightful! There were three couples and a single man (who chose the casita) and everyone was extremely comfortable. It was like your own little hotel, where everyone had their privacy. The place really does take your breath away when you first walk in. I'm planning to go back next year and truthfully, I'm a little reluctant to write this review because I don't want the prices to go up and the dates to be taken up!
Our family spent a 3 nite Mother's Day weekend in this magnificent home. It is even more beautiful than the photos show and has every amenity you could ever imagine. It is immaculate and spacious and the owner clearly takes pride in having it be perfect. He called to see if we needed anything while we were there and assured us we could call him with any problems. As I told him -- we felt like we were staying at a 5 star hotel only better. We are looking forward to a repeat visit!!
We had the pleasure of staying at this house over new years. Our two kids and our friends and their two kids all thought it was great. The pool and spa, which were used ALOT during our stay was awesome and heated perfectly. The owner was very willing to help with any questions we had too (through either email or phone). There are TV's in every room, bathrooms in every room, and the family room is very comfortable and set up for heavy-duty lounging (the TV must have been a 60" HD set, perfect for the Rose Bowl). We even splurged and had a chef come in and cook us dinner on New Years Eve, which the kitchen was totally set up for (the owner helped arrange that too). All in all, a really great experience.
