This penthouse has a spectacular view of Waikiki, all the way down to Diamond Head and up the mountainside. It was conveniently located across from Fort DeRussy (gorgeous green space!) and Hilton Hawaiian Village. The air conditioning worked very well. Beautiful remodeled kitchen! Beds were very comfy with pretty linens. The balance of the penthouse could use a bit of refreshing. A new coat of paint, a thorough carpet cleaning and new blinds would be appreciated by guests. It just looks well lived in. We had to call the manager to inquire about the Wifi password, but he answered immediately and solved our problem. We had a lovely stay and appreciate the opportunity to stay in this lovely penthouse. My husband can't stop gushing about the spectacular view. I will certainly recommend this location to relative, friends, and colleagues.

The Penthouse located at the 43 th floor was very spacious for four people and brightly by a lot of windows. The area of the pool is spacious too. You don't need a car. You are close to everything. I apreciated the coffee shop in the lobby. The people were very nice. The Hotel was old and the rug smelled a little bit humidity. The Penthouse has been used by a lot of rentals. The fournitures, wall, towels, kitchen equipment need a little refresh. The location (near bridge) is noisy by fire truck, ambulance and police early in the morning. Rick was very quick to answer all of my questions and he sent a lot of informations.

All of the reviews that rave about the view and Rick's responsiveness are absolutely correct. It's pretty amazing to see Honolulu from the 43rd floor, and it's great to have a caring, thoughtful property manager! What I'm puzzled about, though, is why the owner doesn't update the unit with comfortable and clean furniture, a new coat of paint, new carpeting, and more dishes (including sharp knives). He could then charge quite a lot per night. Also, I'd have to admit that I've never stayed in an apartment with only saloon doors separating the master bedroom from the master bathroom, or in a unit where the master bedroom door can't be fully closed due to the lack of a doorknob.

Rick was very responsive to any questions we had prior to our arrival as well as during our stay. The space was nice, clean and was not as noisy as some reviews claimed. The only negative was that the pool deck was closed for repairs and we were counting on using the BBQ and pool. Great place to stay, everything within walking distance.

I think it is the best location to stay in Honolulu. You can see Friday fireworks sitting on the chair without any obstacle. Rooms and kitchen are clean. The best is the manager provide her best effort to help us. There is small problem in bathroom and she came immediately and solve the problem. Thanks a lot. I would tell some pros and cons. Pros 1) the best location. You can go anywhere without traffic. Waikiki area is quite busy, but you can avoid that traffic. 2) Height. You can have panoramic view. 3) The manager is very supportive. Cons 1) Parking fee should be paid. It is somewhat high, I think 2) It is located beside main street, so there is some noise. Especially, Friday and Saturday.

The day of arrival gave us that Wow factor. Great facility, great view, great location! The welcome package was just right. Rick and Miki were great to deal with. They know service. We would highly recommend the place????????????????????

Furnitures were relatively old but functioning well

We enjoyed staying at this property.. everything was accurately described. The owner was flexible, which we appreciate! The property is located just a brief stroll from all the action, we found it to be just fine. The condo is comfortable and clean. If we would make a recommendation, updating the cooking utensils would be nice for people who like to cook.. the basics are there. Should we return to Waikiki, we would definitely check to see if this property is available.

We booked this at the very last minute and were happy to have a place in such a good location. Pros were we walked to most things and the view was wonderful. It was clean and fully equipped. Management was very friendly and helpful. Bedding was very comfortable. Air conditioning cooled the place quickly and efficiently. Cons were that the wicker furniture in living room was very uncomfortable and stiff. The elevators took an extremely long time to get. (I believe they were being worked on) .
