Upscale Cottage On The Atlantic Ocean

We had a great experience at Randy's beach house - the house is well kept and Randy responded to questions and/or requests very quickly. Everything you need is at the house.

Great place. Right on beach. Quiet. Loved it

This our second year staying at Randy's home. I got to share this beautiful space with some of my family this year! We made wonderful fun memories. Walking the beach and spending time together outside playing beach games or sitting watching the ocean and sharing stories! Loved it!

The cottage was perfect in every way!

An incredible place to enjoy a week on the beach. Randy (owner) is great to work with and very responsive. The house is great. Having 2 showers and a large tub was awesome for the the kids and having multiple adults stay. Excellent spot on the beach. Private beach area directly in front of the house with a sand path down to the public beach. Even on weekends few people on the beach in front of you. What separates this place from the rest? - Having a beach area as a front yard (before the public beach) to hang out in is incredible. - Propane fire place to enjoy at night was amazing. - central air, plenty of fans and sky lights that could open made things very comfortable. - plenty of room for parking. We had friends come up a lot since we live local. Being able to fit 6 cars was great. - 5 minute walk to the restaurants, shops and ice cream! At night a very short walk down for dinner or ice cream was awesome! - high speed internet WIFI was great at night for the kids. - House sleeps 8 very easily and has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy the week. We absolutely love the place and will be going back. 100% recommend staying here. It’s a slice of heaven.

Although my family and I enjoyed our stay it was very misleading to state that the cottage slept 10. One king size bed upstairs with an air mattress in a tiny office that took up all the floor space so there was nowhere to walk, a queen size bed in 2nd bedroom, and an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room. That makes for 6 people. Someone did sleep on part of the sectional sofa. That's it. Luckily I brought my own air mattress just in case and it was used in the dining area and stood up against a window in the morning. There is no way that 10 people could be comfortable with these sleeping arrangements and I was grateful that my tribe took turns coming to spend time here. The neighborhood is very quiet and we loved having our dogs with us to enjoy running on the beach. However, another issue to address is that the beach was not very kid friendly. The waves crashed against the shore and the little ones were unable to walk in because of the severe drop off. Don't know if that's normal but it was not enjoyable, it was just too dangerous for them. Not too far from downtown which was very enjoyable to explore and plenty of restaurants to choose from. I would say that this cottage is perfect for 4, maybe 6, people just wanting to be on the ocean for a quiet vacation. Any issues are handled by foreigners who are extremely difficult to understand. On the other hand, owner is very pleasant to deal with. A little too pricey for what was advertised and what we got.

The property has a few broken things, but it is at the end of the season. Needs some attention to details like: no hair dryer even tho it said there was one, no wine glasses to speak of, the recliner chair and door to master bedroom broken but overall was great. Lots of extra Junk in drawers/cabinets as well.

We enjoyed our stay at this home on the beach. There was room enough for family to come spend a night. We grilled and had a great dinner together. Love the kitchen! And the table allowed room to play games at night. We were blessed with beautiful sunrises...and just walked out the door to the beach to enjoy them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beach house. We loved the location and Plum Island! We’ll definitely return!
