About the Property
From this beautiful Lodge style home, walk in minutes down Galveston Avenue Corridor to downtown Bend. This spectacular home is on an acre of private land at the base of Overturf Butte. The entire lot is covered in beautifully manicured grass with apple, plumb, peach trees and access to a wonderful vegetable garden in summertime. The back yard is fenced with a gas fire pit, enormous hot tub and patio for sunny morning breakfasts and afternoon barbecues. The home has 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, private outdoor hot tub, soaking tub, gas fireplace and dual heating and air conditioning units. With 4 king sized beds and 3 queen sized beds, the home can sleep up to 14 comfortably. The gourmet, country style kitchen is open to the living area with a breakfast nook and small eating bar. You won't have look twice to find what you need as the kitchen is stocked with every utensil you could imagine. I have been running my other vacation home the Riverfront Lodge here in Bend for 5 years now and I know how important it is to have a supper clean and well stocked house for my guests to enjoy. You can get on your bike or one of the 5 mountain bikes I supply at the house and head up the bike path which starts at the house to Phil's trail head just minutes away or go right down Galveston Ave. to your favorite restaurant or pub or continue through Drake Park along the Deschutes river to iconic downtown Bend. You can enjoy a nice hike right from the house along the Parks and Rec. trail that leads you up Overturf Butte which starts just next to the property. There is a 55 inch HD TV with blue-ray player in the living room downstairs and a 50 inch HD TV with blue-ray player in the rec room upstairs. There is a large comfortable sectional couch in the rec room and many cozy couches and chairs in the living area along with a large antique dining room table and chairs. There is parking for up to 6 vehicles, 3 in the garage and 3 in the driveway. I could go on and on, but the place speaks for itself. Please just take care of it, enjoy your stay and the free greens from the garden and come back to visit us again!!! |

We had a great stay! We had a large group and it was perfect! The hot tub was cozy on a snowy night and all the beds were comfortable!
This place was a blast! The "kid" room upstairs was great to have and there was plenty of room for everyone. We want to make this an annual trip.

Awesome house that is perfectly accommodated for a big group. The hot tub is huge and there was plenty of space for everyone. The beds were comfortable, clean and perfectly equipped with everything we need. The owners of the house made check in/out extremely easy. We walked to town multiple times and it was a short easy walk. I would absolutely stay here again.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house looked even nicer than the pictures showed. The large yard was amazing for playing lawn games and BBQ outside. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. And walking distance to several nice breweries/restaurants in town. Overall A+. Would stay here again.
The house was perfect for our large group over the weekend. We had plenty of space for 14 people and never felt crowded. The backyard was incredible with a huge lawn with lots of games for guests to play. We plan to come back and stay here every year.
This house is perfect for extended family to stay together during a wedding weekend in Bend! The location is ideal, and all you need to make a family happy is in this house.
What a great Property! Everything was as expected! The 2 coffee makers in the morning is awesome. The lawn was like a PGA golf coarse. Perfect! For the small things, Nice towels and sheets! Doug keeps his home right! Be back for sure. See ya in August!
