We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this townhouse apartment. It has enough updates to make it user-friendly and enough original elements to keep the character and charm of an 1840s building. Location is convenient to local shops, restaurants, public transport. We loved walking along the east river at Domino Park. The Williamsburg bridge is stunning. We noticed other reviewers' comments about the noise from the Williamsburg bridge -- car traffic and train. Honestly, after the first evening we didn't notice it. It quieted down substantially during the night. We brought earplugs and that likely helped. The owners were responsive and friendly in their communication. We regret we didn't have the chance to meet them in person. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful New York and Brooklyn experience!
What an amazing stay. As a New York are coming back to visit after three years what a wonderful place to stay The owner was super sweet very helpful location right next to the Williamsburg Bridge Walking distance to anything and everything in the neighborhood as well as over across the way is progress you have a Little Italy DeLancey St., Chinatown everything is right there
Beautiful and inviting living space, with tons of character and homie feeling.
At first I thought that I might have chosen a place too far from Manhattan and the things we wanted to do but after a full day of the sites and sounds of New York it was wonderful to come back to our flat and just unwind. We found wonderful restaurants nearby and met some very nice local people. We had a slight emergency and Minnette worked with us to help everything come together. I would recommend.
Good value. Nice kitchen but could’ve used a few more pots and pans.
Minnette was easily contactable by email and very attentive. The apartment was atmospheric and roomy. It was very convenient to Manhattan and Minnette left detailed and clear instructions about the subway and laundrette etc
Only slight problem was being told wrong key box details. Apartment is large, a little quirky with old fashioned furnishings and creaky floorboards. As others have noted, train noise is close
Great trip, just what we needed for an event nearby. Very close to ferry
We couldn't have been happier with our decision to rent here. This is a wonderful place from which to enjoy and explore all of Williamsburg. And Manhattan is just across the bridge and so easy to go back and forth. We loved our stay and would certainly come back again. Thank you Minnette!
Super location to come and go from for ferry and subway. Nice restaurants right in the area too.
Comfortable and everything we needed was there
