Deepwell get away, south Palm Springs

My husband and I rented this house in Palm Springs for a couples getaway, with some family joining us for the Thanksgiving holiday. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The owners created such a comfortable home that we didn't want to leave! It was quiet, private and had lovely mountain views. Plus it's in a great location for getting around PS easily. We enjoyed luxury touches like: heated blankets on all the beds, all-house and outdoor speakers, pool floaties, 2 gas fireplaces (one indoor and one outdoor), gorgeous stone showers that make you feel like you're in Hawaii, and all the kitchen ware you could need (nice serving pieces so your table feels like home along with tons of pool serving pieces for all the hours outdoors). The pool was great, the lounging ledge was really nice for reading in the water, under an umbrella. And the hot tub had great jets and was the perfect temp. We didn't use the bikes, but there were two available. And, we were able to park our car in the garage, which is really nice in the desert. All in all, we plan to come back for our next desert getway and our family that visited wanted the listing number too! it's a gem.

I don't often write reviews but I am happy to report that my wife & I recently returned from a wonderful ten days spent in this idyllic location. Everything about this home is first rate from the total backyard privacy for the pool & Jacuzzi to the impeccably maintained interior. The owners are great to deal with & easy to contact. The home is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood ideal for morning walks & bikes are supplied for exploring many urban trails. Nothing is missing from this terrific vacation house--barbeque, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor gas fire pit, pool umbrellas, outdoor eating area, Wi-Fi, Air Play speakers throughout the house & pool, heated bed blankets & use of an attached garage. We are so looking forward to coming back next year.

What a beautiful home and property this is. We came here over spring break with our 2 kids, ages 7 and 3. We wanted for nothing at this place, and hope to return next year. We loved the pool and hot tub, the flat grassy yard with plenty of deck chairs, the ease of everything in the house, the nice kitchen, the modern-looking living room, the comfortable beds, the wifi, and the outdoor speakers. The place is close to a nice grocery store and not far from the main drag downtown. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful however, and very relaxing. Highly recommended! One of the best trips we've ever taken.

My family came here over a long weekend to celebrate a couple of birthdays...4 adults and 1 child aged 8. We had such a difficult time choosing a location as most of the rentals in Palm Springs were all so beautiful and we all agree that we were very fortunate to end up at this location. The owners were so very easy to work with and made our first VRBO a great experience...they spared no expense when they recently remodelled their home just to quickly mention that the bathrooms are absolutely lovely (very important when staying away from home) The home has a "WOW" factor the moment you walk into the living area and have a panoramic view to the gorgeous 1" glass tile pool and outdoor area. The location was close to downtown and is in a desirable area whether you chose a walk about town or a bike ride. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood...you will definitely feel at home. We BBQ'd every night and enjoyed every moment of the stay. We will be back for sure...planning an August 2015 trip. Thank you for sharing you home with us...we felt at home the entire time.

There are many nice houses in Palm Springs. Many with lovely pools and amenities. Many that are in a perfect location. The list goes on... While this home has ALL of those elements, the thing I appreciated most was that everything was exactly as it should be. No issues or problems upon arrival. No excuses. Everything was perfect. The pool was heated, the place was spotless, the amenities were all as they said they were. My wife and I arrived with our 10 month old child. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Will definitely return. Thank you Paul for making sure that your place is well taken care of and as lovely as it claims to be.

This is our 5 th time here, we just love it here! Always relaxing and comfortable, especially the beds! Close to fun downtown locations, easy walk and biking too. But overall, just so peaceful, private and relaxing.

We just spent two perfect weeks at this house. The yard is completely private with great ammenities: a pretty aqua glass tiled pool and spa with nice floats, "noodles", and four chaises. The pool gets sun all day, but there are shaded areas if you want to get out of the sun. You can put the umbrella and chaises in the shallow "tanning shelf" end! We spent nearly every morning and evening around the fire pit with our coffee - lovely! The house is very modern and spacious with a great stone floor in the main area. The newly remodeled large galley kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The lighting and sound system both inside and out are superb. Walking and biking around the neighborhood was easy, safe, and scenic at all times of the day. The very peaceful, quiet neighborhood (note: not for party people!) features so many interesting mid-century modern homes. You especially need to take a walk at night to appreciate the lit up landscaping! We rented tennis courts at the nearby Plaza Racquet club every morning for just $20 an hour. Very nice courts and friendly staff: don't bother waiting forever to try to get on a court at Ruth Hardy Park! The location is great: it is very near to the airport BUT... there was no airport noise! Very convenient to downtown, shopping, and restaurants. The owners or a concierge will show you through the house when you arrive. None of the "try to find the key" that we have encountered at other rentals, and then you can't even figure out how to turn on the TV! "You get what you pay for". Don't hesitate to rent this lovely home.

My friends and I had a lovely time at Paul's beautiful home this past weekend. The space was clean, spacious and relaxing. Paul was a diligent and caring host who made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a discount code for the local grocery store. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Great house in quite neighborhood. Walking distance from two great supermarkets. Wonderful backyard with pool, perfect for sun bathing. Modern kitchen, bathrooms and living quarters. We loved the views of the mountains from the house and pool. We would definitely stay again. Owners were very responsive to our needs.
