The top floor apartment has views in all directions. There is a full kitchen and two baths. The dining room faces east and you wake up to sun coming over the glaciers. The living room faces west and affords a beautiful place to watch the sunset. There are two bedrooms. One private with a full size bed. The other two queens and a sleeper couch are in another room. Both areas have DISH TVs and bathrooms. We offer WIFI and DISH TV. There is a game room located downstairs that has Foosball, ping pong, a small pool table, exercise equipment and big screen WII. While cooking in the large kitchen you have great views both to the east and the west. It is a great place to entertain and relax. |

Though we only stayed for one night, we wished we could have stayed longer but I highly recommend it for anyone from a couple to a large party traveling together (there were five single males traveling in my party.) Because of the size of our group, we required the whole top floor (we were told it was 2,200 sq. feet which is bigger than my house) and LuAnne was the perfect host. When we were more than 4 hours late (we told her we'd arrive roughly 5 to 6 P.M. but arrived closer to 9:45 P.M., she met us at her property to let us in and give us the lay of the land. We did not get to use the "rec" room but it was nice big room with games to play and the property is relatively secluded so it is really quiet. The view from the property is just as she pictures it in her listing and very beautiful though like anything in Alaska, the weather really dictates where and how far you can see. I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of staying in this area. We were there mainly to go fishing in Homer and though it's about 30 minutes away, it's a really nice drive to and from the harbor. Thanks for everything LuAnne!
