vacation home in woods w/ hot tub/Gaylord, MI

The minute we pulled in to the community we were in awe of the beauty. The owner was amazing and the house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Definitely recommend, it was a wonderful weekend.

Great house! Perfect location! It provides everything needed for a living as far as furniture, appliances, houseware is concerned. Landlord is great! Everything went smooth, no issues at all. Just a perfect place to be.

I have never booked a rental home to stay in. I found it was cheaper than a hotel. We were i Gaylord for a family member's wedding. The place was wonderful!! The owner was a phone call away. If you are not familiar with the area, she had a box full of goodies to point you to the best places to eat, attractions and more. Will be going back there in the near future. Best place to get away if you want to get away. Thank you Ms.Carol!!!

This was a great spot for myself and my adult children to spend some time together. Carol's home is very cozy and felt like home. We used the kitchen a lot - very well equipped. My only complaint was that we were short one bed. There were seven of us but only two double beds and two twin beds which is different than the listing says. Thankfully my son didn't mind sleeping on the couch. We really enjoyed our time in this winter wonderland and would like to come back!

My now wife and I rented this property in September 2016 for a location that us and family could stay while preparing for the wedding. The house had all the amenities that really made it feel like a northern Michigan home. Great decor and the area was quiet and peaceful. We did run into a couple of issues with the upstairs shower not transiting from the tub faucet to the shower head and the hot tubs filter was floating inside the tub when we went in causing white particles to gradually float when the jets were turned on. We mentioned both of these to the owner who was more than understanding.Everything else about the property was spot on and I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful northern Michigan experience.

My husband and I spent about 6 weeks at this comfortable and convenient Gaylord MI location. We are avid golfers and this area is "Golf Central". We could use the neighborhood's own golf course, Michaywe, or book one of the many courses located within an hour's drive of our place. We ended up playing many fine tracks, including Black Lake, Elk Ridge, Forest Dunes, Harbor Springs CC,Gaylord CC, Treetops, Cedar River,Dunmaglass--you get the picture! We will be back next year to try some more. We also had family and friends join us for long weekends. There was plenty of room and all kinds of sight seeing to do in the immediate area. All in all a comfortable stay. You cant go wrong. The owner is conscientious and hospitable and so is her place.

We arrived at your home and there wasn't a speck of snow. So we thought about all the things we could do without snow up north. But, we didn't have to wait long in deciding, because the very next day we had over a foot of snow. It was beautiful, the woods behind your home was picture perfect. It looked like a postcard. We stayed at your house in September over the Labor day weekend so we knew that your house was well equipped, including a ping pong table, pool table, and extra helpful gadgets in your kitchen, just to mention a few things. The clubhouse association is really a nice perk with the pool, hot tub, and excellent restaurant/bar. We will definitely make plans to stay at your beautiful home again. We spent two nights at this rental. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The home was even decorated for Christmas. Carol is very friendly and helpful. You get an awful lot for the money and I would certainly stay here again. Highly recommended.

Quiet home set back off main road. Relaxing venue. Home gave you feeling you were at your own place just away from it all. Carol has a warm home with plenty of games, movies, and other opportunities for you to enjoy your stay. We chose to relax and play golf at Michawaye, Loon golf club and Treetops, all within comfortable distance from home. Certainly would recommend this home to others.

Thank you for letting our family stay at your house. Your home had all the amenities to make our family feel very comfortable. We had so much fun playing ping-pong that we are getting a table for Christmas. The kitchen was fully equipped in order to cook our meals. The washer and dryer sure came in handy to dry our clothes after using the club pool. We certainly plan to stay at your gorgeous home again.
