Casa Guadalupe is a spacious, colorful, and tranquil hideaway in the central historic district of Mérida. One block away begins the city's culinary epicenter, with four of the top restaurants, a food court, cafe, and handmade ice cream shop. It's also an easy walk to museums, outdoor concerts, and shops on the elegant Paseo de Montejo. Mérida is a vibrant cultural center, the safest city in México, and central to dozens of Mayan archeological sites.
At Casa Guadalupe color abounds and outdoor living prevails. The central courtyard is surrounded by a lush tropical garden. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The two main bedrooms open onto the patio; both have optional air conditioning for a small extra charge. After a siesta, head to the rooftop patio to catch a breeze while watching the sunset. The palapa offers a spare living room that easily converts to a third bedroom.
The entire house will be yours alone.

The pictures do not do this house justice. It exceeded our expectations and is absolutely gorgeous! The decorations are thoughtfully placed. There was everything we needed to enjoy our week stay. Parking was never an issue and the A/C worked great at night. The pool was also perfect for cooling off. The location is close to Plaza Grande and Paseo Montejo. The bed was comfortable and the house was extremely clean. It was very hard for us to leave Casa Guadalupe! The host, Jessica, was always quick to respond and extremely nice and helpful. We can't wait to experience Casa Guadalupe's beauty again. Please do yourself a favor by staying here when in Merida!
Allison's house is a beautifully restored house in Merida's Centro. Close to the Santa Ana Park and the Paseo de Montejo, it is surrounded by beautiful restaurants and even a very cozy coffee shop. The interior is very welcoming with gorgeous tile throughout. The rooms are decorated with wonderfully chosen art pieces. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the tools one might need to cook including bottled water. The best feature of the house is the garden with the beautiful pool that allows one to cool down after a hot day wondering the historical streets. The garden's vegetation and lighting are delightful as is the upstairs palapa. This house is definitely a great home base in Merida allowing the traveler to explore the beautiful colonial city and its close beaches.
Beautiful space. The pool is perfect and the upstairs palabra and rooftop is amazing during the evenings. Host was responsive and helpful.
This house has really comfortable furniture. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed very well equipped. We absolutely loved the enclosed patio on the roof and spent most of our time there. Jessica, the manager, made check in and check out easy, and she was always quick to respond to texts. This house is a great deal compared to others in its price range. We hope to stay again soon!
Allison's place was a lovely respite in the heat. Beautiful pool area with gorgeous trees and flowers. Fantastic tile work. A reasonable walk to Centro, but there are great restaurants nearby and the Mercado Santa Ana is right there. Relaxing place to spend a few days.
Absolutely lovely home in the historic centre of Merida. Walking distance of the main plaza. We really enjoyed our stay there. The only downside was that we didn't feel particularly welcome by the owner's representative.
Nice house well equipped and decorated, with a suffisant comfort to enjoy Merida. The situation is pleasant, 10 min walking to the historical center. The communication with the owner was good and the propriety manager was quiet available.
