Great home; felt like a resort or 4 Star Hotel. Enjoyed the backyard and pool area.
Absolutely the highest recommendation, with certain things to keep in mind. First, the owners are great. We picked this property over many others due the owner's responses to E-mails. Attention to detail is great. One thing: certain amenities were kind of lacking, but this was due solely to our making reservations at the last minute, having to arrive way late due to inefficient flight connections from Japan, and not having time to speak with the wonderful person who takes care of the property ( Lisa ). I am absolutely certain that everything would be taken care of immediately, should the need arise. The rooms were wonderfully spacious: too much, in fact, for our party of 5 to justify. It was beyond luxurious, with beds that were great, pillows that were beyond that, and sheets were fantastic. The play area for kids was really nice. The kitchen was nice also. We just did not have any time other than to use the micro-wave, but I can easily see creating a gourmet meal here. The spa and pool were wonderful, and kids will love the slide into the pool. Second, the location. This is the tough thing. Phoenix has become a sprawling city, with suburbia extending way beyond what it was a few decades ago when I last visited here. The traffic can be EXTREMELY heavy at times, and the tangle of freeways difficult to fathom. If one is going to spend much time either going to downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale, or towards Tucson, .this should be factored in carefully. If one is going north to Sedona and Flagstaff or east, then it is simply a nice drive. For younger people who drive a lot, no problem. There is a strip mall with a nice Safeway and Walgreens fairly close, but most stores require a certain amount of driving. Many unique and nice spots do abound. Anyhow, this area is definitely a vehicle-driven region, so please keep that in mind. That being said, the roads are quite nice and well-kept. The scenery can be boring to some, but I think that many people would find it interesting. Finally, Phoenix had the mother of heat waves here, and the air was HOT. I would say that summer is not exactly the most optimal time to stay in southern Arizona. I would dearly love to stay here during the late autumn or all of winter. In fact, I am seriously considering retiring in Arizona, and much of this was due to the charms of this property and neighbors. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Doucette, and of course the wonderful Lisa, for allowing us the privilege of staying here
This property is very quiet, well kept and close to Phoenix. Our stay was great. The pool was a great amenity very relaxing. We would recommend this property.
We’ve stayed here before so we knew what to expect: large home perfect for our family vacation, a fun pool for the kids, fire pit, etc. check in and out were both effortless. Great neighborhood. The only surprise we had was Tuesday morning 4 guys in hoodies showed up in the backyard at 7am. It turned out to be the landscapers, which was fine - we just weren’t expecting it. We would definitely stay here again! We love the layout of the home, especially the kitchen!
This very spacious home is immaculate and well thought out. We had plenty of room to relax and enjoy our vacation. The toys upstairs in the large entertainment area were a very nice surprise as we had a toddler in our group. This home is perfect for a large family.
Beautiful, well equipped home with a stunning backyard. Sean, Brandy and Lisa are a pleasure to deal with. We had an amazing family vacation and highly recommend this property.
Always a joy staying here.
Clean, lovely and perfect for our month vacation.
