Peaceful Retreat on Makai Golf Course with Ocean Views

Lovely, spacious 2BR 2BA, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, beach chairs, snorkels and fins, beach towels, everything you need. It is the bottom floor unit of a two-story two-unit condo with very little noticeable noise from above. Generous breezes with the dual sliding doors open to the patio. The sun rises right into the master bedroom and great room, but the curtains in the master keep out the light well. The second bedroom in the back gets nice breezes as well and was very cool at night. The pictures make the breakfast area look small, but it's actually quite spacious. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay in Princeville, easy to find, easy to park, convenient to Kilauea, Hanalei and beyond. Grocery store is nearby as well as places to eat and explore. Would definitely stay here agin.

We truly enjoyed our time at Moty's and Maya's place. The condo was exactly as expected and the views were better than in the photos. Condo is very open with lots of light and wonderful breeze. We didn't even miss not having a/c at all as the ocean breeze cooled the condo down enough to be comfortable. Our favorite part was the lanai and we ate almost all our meals out there watching the ocean. I loved waking up right before the sun came out and watching the sunrise from the little "backyard" area in front of the condo and then eating breakfast on the lanai. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and they also had beach towels, boogie boards, a cruiser bike, and some snorkel gear for those who don't bring their own. The location was great - we walked to several beaches and to the Foodland and Princeville shopping center. All within a 2 mile walk. Quick drive to Hanalei town. Super quiet and relaxing. We would love to come back in the future!! Thank you Moty and Maya for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

moty was super easy to coordinate with and she makes the check in and check out process super easy. Condo is clean, organized, and has everything one needs to feel like they are in a home away from home. no better way to start your day then with the sunrises at this condo and and the frequent Nene Geese visits. would highly recommend this rental!!!

Can’t even begin to explain how amazing our time has been on Kauai and specifically in Princeville and at this property! We’ve been to Maui and Oahu and wanted to spend some special time for birthday and anniversary celebration in a new island. Totally met our expectations! The owners leave nothing out as the property is stocked with everything for a great island vacation! The pictures don’t do the unit justice even though the pictures are great! The views are amazing . My favorite part? Going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean. Thank you for an incredible stay that leaves us with great memories!! We hope to be back. Mahalo and much aloha.

We had a great time staying in this beautiful home. They had everything you would need and a fully stocked kitchen, beach toys, chairs, a bike, a cooler, I wore a straw hat that was in the closet, boogie boards, floaty’s and many more things just in the closet as you walk in. The king size bed is unbelievably comfortable. The two twin size beds are equally comfortable. There is even an extra fan if you need it and we used it because I like white noise. The house was cool because of the wonderful winds that come off the ocean which is only about 100 feet away below a jungle cliff. The house is on a golf course and still looking out the back from the living room is a beautiful view of the golf course and the ocean. You have to drive to the ocean to swim in it and there are a lot of really good beaches nearby. That didn’t bother us at all. Their swimming pool is shared with other condos and we went swimming several times and had the pool to ourselves. No hot tub. The pool is perfect temperature and very clean. There is room to park one car or possibly two cars. The home was very clean and the owner, Moty, was very helpful and congenial. He help me with the lockbox immediately and had someone come over to fix it. He answered the phone immediately. We felt very safe and never worried about locking the doors. It is at the end of The road so we didn’t have to worry about traffic. It was quiet and comfortable. There were books to read and a giant television with quite a few videos or you could watch cable. There was also a TV in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were also very good, the showers were excellent, there is a washer and dryer, a lot of hot water, we never ran out. We had four adults staying. We all had a shower every day because we were swimming in the ocean every day. You should also go to the Kilauea Fire Show at the Kilauea community park on Wednesdays at six for the dinner and the show. It is well worth it and the food is incredible. We got to learn to drum there. Kilauea is not far away. We went back the next day to walk the 4-6 mile trail there through a mahogany forest. Beautiful! We also liked secret beach and Hanalei beach and Anini Beach. We ate all of our meals there at the home which we cooked ourselves. We bought our food at Costco in Lehui after flying in. Later we got a few things at Food town in Princeville. The best shave ice is at Kapa’a, at Wailua Shave ice. Get the Lava Flow! Overall, we loved this Princeville HOME!!

From the location to the furnishings, this rental exceeded our expectations. Sunrises were incredible. Will have no problem booking this again when in the North Shore.

We walked to Queens Bath, from this spacious condo. Great views, walked off the back patio to huge golf course and views galore. Complete kitchen-roomy and well stocked kitchen supplies, bedrooms were separated well, two complete baths, always had parking right in front of our place. Only negative was it was hot when we were there, not like previous two years that we came and stayed in the Cliffs, we could have used some more fans. My wife and I, loved our stay and the time went so fast. This place is quieter and you feel less crowded. It is a slice of paradise. Maya and Mota, the owners were easy and nice to work with-they are great. I would love to come back. They have good golf clubs, older but Pings-we really didn't need to bring ours from California. They have everything you could need there at the 1300 square foot condo. We brought our good friends from Texas celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary and they loved it, too. Just that we were in a little bit of a hotspell on Kauai. We had such full days and enjoyed Hanalei Bay so much-a short drive away. And you are very close to the Princeville Foodland and shops. We walked there most mornings! I would highly recommend this place-the value is very real and price very reasonable. Ahh! wish I was there now.

We traveled to Kauai with a large number of family members (26) 5 separate family units. All in Princeville, from Alli Kai, the Cliffs, and the best spot Maya and Moty's on the Makai Golf Course . My favorite thing had to be the sun rises over the ocean from the master bedroom, the livingroom, even the lanai out on the reclining lawn chair with a cup of coffee in hand. The pictures do not do it justice. The square footage compared to the other condos I was able to see in Princeville blows them all out of the water. We were the only people in the pool the whole 11 days we stayed, and we never had to fight over parking spots. The location of the condo made it so we did not feel crowded. I was worried when there was no air conditioning in the unit, but from the moment we arrived until the day we left there was always a nice breeze that would flow through. I enjoyed being able to cook meals at the condo and appliance wise, they have thought of everything! I purchased coffee at costco before we checked in and the next morning I went to make coffee.... I bought a giant bag of whole beans! I look in the cabinet and they have a coffee grinder. Everything went so smoothly that we never had to call Maya or Moty for anything. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your condo with us, it is a vacation that my family will always remember.

Our family enjoyed every minute exploring Kauai. We loved staying at Maya and Moty’s condo. The beds were very comfortable and we loved opening the windows and doors to allow the breeze to blow through- no need for air conditioning at all!! The view from the living/dining area and master bed room is amazing- with stunning sunrise each morning. We were so close to many beaches and shopping areas. We would definitely go back, in fact we can’t wait!!
