About the Property
House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (up to7) Start your day with coffee on the porch overlooking a meadow, enjoy the sun coming up as it lights up the Mountain. This home is jusit a few blocks form the center of town, with it's galleries, and shops. The home has been completely refurbished just a few years ago, it is bright and sunny. Original refinished fir floors complement the living and dinning room. The interior is tastefully decorated, and is very inviting. The Kitchen has the original sugar pine counters, and comes fully equipped with all that is needed to host a large crowd. A BBQ is situated on the back porch and the patio area is ready for the event. Washer and dryer is on site. One of the baths offers a claw foot tub, while the other has a marble shower, and a stained glass window that illuminates the room with dancing colored light. This is centrally located in the heart of McCloud, close to all of the galleries and shops. It is also only a short stroll away from Hoo Hoo park where you can enjoy the day playing Bocci Ball on the brand new Bocci Ball Courts. |

We love McCloud and this was the perfect place to stay. The house was very functional for our family. The space is very usable and we enjoyed every inch. It is walking distance to everything a perfect jumping off point to our morning walks. Thank you Dale and Linda for a great stay. We will be back soon.
We were in love as soon as we walked through the front door. Very cozy and relaxing, we felt right at home. For our family of five, the three ample bedrooms and very well equipped kitchen made for a perfect fit. Thanks Dale & Linda, we hope to return next year...or possibly in the spring?
We felt very comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. The house was well equipped and charming. We had a perfectly grand winter white weekend. TV isn't my thing, but my son tried to get it working and couldn't, maybe some instructions on that would be helpful for other guests. Also, with snow, a few hooks for jackets would have been great in the main room. We loved the location and had a great meal at Ax and Roses. McCloud is such a sweet place. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We sleep so soundly in the extremely comfy beds. Outside is pure silence with an awareness of a mountain looming above that is amazing!!

My family of 5 were very pleased with this darling home! Everything was clean and comfortable. It was a cold and drizzly weekend and the house could not have been warmer or cozier!We would definitely rent again. Thank you!
It was a comfortable house with plenty of chairs and a dinning table to eat the meals we made up there. Well stocked with pots and pans etc. It was hot when we went, it would have been nice to have a screen door in the back to get a flow into the house. Didn’t get under 80 degrees in the house although it was cool in the morning. Hiking on the McCloud was amazing.
It was getting dark by the time we arrived and just as I began picturing myself fumbling with a lockbox by the light of my cell phone we rounded the corner only to see the front porch lit up with strand lights – very nice! Once inside we were honestly blown away, every room was nicely furnished and very clean. The WiFi worked great and the TV with Roku meant no shortage of shows to watch, plus there were plenty of books and magazines to read. The neighborhood was very quiet and we slept like babies. Trust me, we didn’t want to leave! A big thanks to owner Linda for replying to my random questions and for sending an unexpected message letting me know there would be a festival going on during our stay in McCloud. We look forward to staying here again soon!
Loved location of home centrally located. We were able to walk to restaurants. Will definitely return again.
