We stayed only a few weeks after the floods had inundated part of the house and pretty much the whole town. The owner was very responsive, courteous, and helpful in making sure the place was ready for us to stay. The listing description was pretty accurate; the third bedroom is a little tight on space, and I wish there'd been a bigger coffee table between the couches for games, but everything was comfortable, tasteful, and the views out of every room are gorgeous.
We stayed here just a few weeks after dramatic flooding in the Russian River valley and we’re happy to find the house was in good shape, well appointed with enough room for three couples and my 84-year-old mom. The upstairs living area with three bedrooms and two baths requires no stair-climbing, which worked perfectly for my mom. And my daughter and her husband had nice privacy downstairs in their big room. We loved watching for otters from the big windows in the living room. We also liked that there were plenty of dishes, coffee cups, wine glasses. This is a fun area to visit. We were here for our son’s wedding nearby and would love to come back and would definitely rent this vacationn home again.

Our women’s group loved the beauty and good vibes of Dragon’s Lair. The kitchen is well equipped. We paddled on the river, soaked in the hot tub, and celebrated our sisterhood taking in the peace. We hope to return next year.
We all enjoyed our family getaway at the Dragon's Lair. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. It was really fun to have the kayaks and canoe to use.
Chris sent us all of the info beforehand and we found the property easily. Chris was there when we arrived and let us know the history of the property and showed us around a bit, which was great. The place is actually (I think) much nicer in person than in the photos, so we were all pleasantly surprised! He even called on Sunday to let us know we could check out later if we wanted to. I'd recommend Chris' home and would stay there again. Thank you!!
Location on the river is unbelievable. Owner did A LOT of work to shore up his riverfront property, given the floods. Enough space for 12 people, well-equipped kitchen, kayaks, etc and other amenities that makes a stay enjoyable. Reasonable cost for the fun stay! Owner was responsive and friendly.
I only wish there were MORE dragons! Seriously, this one was right in line with expectations, super easy to deal with and well appointed. Thanks Chris!
We enjoyed our stay at The Dragon’s Lair very much. The home was clean and had all the amenities available.it was a perfect place from which to launch all our day trips. I will have to book again when the weather is warmer to use the kayaks on the river!
