This house is built like a castle — with gigantic proportions. The front door is 15 feet high, the ceilings throughout the house seem to be 15-20 feet high, everything is just enormous. It is quite beautiful and has many high end touches. The land outside provides privacy — which you need, since it the rooms all have gigantic windows with no shades! The views are marvelous and you feel like you’re living outside. We stayed here with 20 people - 10 adults and 10 kids ages 7-22 (so some of them are really adults). We loved the family rooms and the game room, got great usage out of the hot-tubs. I would say that the house can only comfortably sleep 12 people, because there really aren’t beds for 20. We had kids sleeping on couches and air mattresses which really isn’t ideal. I would suggest that the owner turn one of the rooms into a bunkbed room with 8 beds, so that everyone can have a bed. Will also say that the service was excellent. When we had an issue, the maintenance crew came out right away and fixed it. They were polite, courteous and efficient. In terms of distance — it was 1 hour to Sedona and 90 minutes to the Grand Canyon. Highly recommned
We had such an amazing time here! We brought our employees and their families to this property for a team building/appreciation getaway. There were 11 adults and a few children and we never felt crowded. The home is very large with tall windows and ceilings. We had masseuses come to the property and they were able to set up in the master suite which is very spacious. Tom was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely book this property again.
The property and surround grounds were beautiful. It was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter's graduation from NAU. I would highly recommend it.
This property is a great location for any group retreat or team outing. Tom was wonderful to work with and helped us with whatever we needed prior to our stay. Our team loved getting to stay on such a wonderful and relaxing property!
Wonderful home for our retreat! Thank you for the great opportunity:-) Only criticism was lake was being drained.
We loved staying on this property – it truly had everything we needed! The hosts were very friendly and responsive to all of our questions. A few notes about the house to keep in mind for your stay (none of these things were huge issues - just providing the information). 1) Lots of stairs! Keep in mind, if anyone in your group has a hard time with stairs, all but one of the bedrooms are on the lower level. There are also double staircases going down at the main entrance. The kids had to be careful here. 2) There isn’t currently a lake (June 2019), as it’s being drained for repairs. The scenery was still beautiful! 3) One of the king rooms is completely separated from the house and can only be accessed from outside. We had to leave a sliding door cracked open so they could get into the main house. 4) A number of the rooms don’t have blinds that can cover the glass doors and/or windows. Some of these rooms look right out to the backyard, which was interesting for some in our party. Overall, we really enjoyed this house and would definitely stay here again!
This is the third time our family has enjoyed this facility and it has become one of our favorite vacation retreat destinations.
Large and beautiful property, owner very accommodating, nicest home you can rent in Flagstaff
Another wonderful stay. The birthday celebration was made perfect by the most amazing location while being joined by friends and family
What a beautiful home and property. Everything was picture worthy and my group, on the smaller side, enjoyed exploring, especially my 12 year old. The weather in Flagstaff was perfect which made sitting out on the porch or balcony, a treat and wonderful way to start and end each day. Thank you for your hospitality and inviting us into your breathtaking home. So unique!
