Beautiful cabin with an amazing view. My family and I absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back.
Wow! What a beautiful cabin! What an amazing view! Immaculately kept, very well appointed - everything we needed to feel at home and then some! We so enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Loved having morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck looking at the mountains. The hot tub was wonderful to come back to after a day of hiking and sight seeing. We've already talked about returning - maybe for the fall colors!
PRO -- Excellent communications from the initial rental agreement until after check-out. Shortly after booking, Penny posted an information packet that answered any question that anyone would have. There was information about how to get to the cabin, cabin access, internet access, important phone numbers, local stores, things to do, and local places to eat at. PRO -- There are not enough words in the English language to describe the. If my wife didn't HAVE to shop, my wife would never have left the balcony with her cup of coffee and book. PRO -- It's hard to impress my seven-year-old grandson, Cooper, but when he walked into the cabin for the first time, he was speechless -- just standing there with his mouth open. PRO -- My fourteen-year-old grandson, Hayden, loved the pool table. PRO -- Both grandsons were in the hot tub the first day and every day. One small problem developed with the hot tub, but Penny took care of it that day. PRO -- My grandsons loved the fact that they had their "own" floor. PRO -- All the furniture and decorations were tasteful and well appointed. PRO -- After the first night my grandsons said that their beds felt sooooo good, and I agreed. PRO -- We felt so in the wild. There was only one cabin visible from the wrap-a-round deck, and it was hard to see. PRO -- Two paved, multi-level parking spots provided ample parking for four cars/pickups. PRO -- There is nothing like going out on the deck as a stunning sun peaks over the tips of the mountains with the mules baying, the cows mowing, the birds chirping, and an eagle sailing on an updraft. PRO -- Well appointed kitchen with all appliances in good working order. PRO -- Returning from dinner one night, my wife said, "Let's go home" in reference to the cabin. The cabin made you feel like it was HOME. CON -- There are none except our family is not there at this very moment. NOTE -- Hatcher Mountain Road is a paved, fairly wide road. Indigo Lane, although paved, is narrow with blind curves. Use extreme caution! We will be back!
Me and my family loved staying here. The cabin and the views were amazing! The pool table was a big hit with the kids and the adults loved the hot tub. We all enjoyed playing corn hole. We didn't want to leave.
What a grest house! The view is AMAZING! Very clean, plenty of room and close to all attractions. We loved every minute of our trip and this house surpassed all our expectations!
We had a great time at “A Sight to See”. From the moment we walked on the deck and saw the view , I knew we picked a great cabin for our week in the Smoky Mountains! We had 4 kids with us from age 7 to 14 and Grammy. We had plenty of room. The house was perfect to entertain the kids and allow relaxing for the adults. That view was simply amazing. We saw rainbows across the mountains twice. The suggestions from the owner were great for activities and dining. We had so many great meals!! The location of the cabin was perfect. Away from the traffic so you could enjoy the quiet of the mountains but close to lots of activities. We enjoyed the Hatcher Mountain hike, Dollywood, ZIP lining and white water rafting. Thank you .. we really had an amazing week. Your cabin was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our family!
This was out first time vacationing in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. We had a great time and will definitely visit again. The cabin was well stocked, clean and roomy for our group of 7. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in this area.
This location is absolutely breath taking! The house is very spacious, clean and makes you feel at home. The surroundings are so peaceful and easily accessible to all of the great adventures in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Penny was more than accommodating and responded quickly to any question we had, even called us to let us know about possible road closures prior to our arrival due to some storms that past through a few days prior to our arrival. We can not wait to visit again. This house is perfect for multiple families or couples. Looking forward to visiting a sight to see again in the near future!!! Kristi White-Wilmington, DE
What an amazing view! So quiet and peaceful. The cabin was just beautiful and made us feel right at home. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, cooking on the grill and of course sitting on the deck. You can never get tired of that view! The cabin was in a great location close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain National Park. Penny was wonderful to work with. We loved staying here! This cabin is most definitely "A Sight to See"
Absolutely beautiful! The cabin was so clean and spacious! Loved the gorgeous view.. it was breathtaking! We will definitely be back again! Thanks Penny & family for sharing your beautiful cabin!
