Newly built in 2000, this gorgeous vacation home comfortably accommodates up to seven people. The master bedroom is outfitted with a queen-size custom made log bed, a master bath with large jet tub, and an exquisite view of the bay. A massive stone fireplace sets the tone for the tastefully decorated living area, featuring a separate dining area and complete kitchen. A spiral staircase leads up to the cozy loft and its excellent view of the bay. The full length bay windows overlook Lake Huron, numerous islands and Canada. For those relaxing summer nights, sit on the large deck with a built-in gas grill, and comfortable patio furniture... perfect to watch the sunset! Or enjoy the view from the screened-in porch. The second bedroom also has a beautiful custom made rustic bed, and a lake view. The third bedroom has a bunkbed with a double on the bottom. Beautiful cabin on the island, great location, everything you could ever want! Cant beat waking up to an incredible view of the lake through the huge A frame windows.
Warm, comfy and relaxing. Everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend to all. Very accommodating to us and our two dogs.
We loved every minute on Drummond Island... the people are friendly, the rugged beauty at every turn is unforgettable and the view from Island Retreat is second to none. We spent 2 1/2 wonderful weeks on Drummond Island and never wanted to leave! The floor to vaulted ceiling windows at this rustic cabin made us feel wrapped in refreshment with the ever changing, crystal clear, sapphire blue water. We explored the island and saw deer, all kinds of birds, colorful butterflies, and one day, we even saw a black bear... he was a beauty! You will never run out of things do and see on Drummond Island, but for us, it was pure relaxation with exhilarating adventures every day! Every evening, we couldn't wait to get home and bask in the gorgeous, breathtaking sunsets, each evening more beautiful than the one before! Enjoy!
