Large, comfortable, in-town family house, 3 blocks from beach, with well-stocked kitchen. This is a charming older home that has been completely renovated and re-decorated with modern conveniences including WI-FI, (NO WI-FI OFF-SEASON) 2 flat screen smart TVs with DVD players and Roku (NO CABLE) and A/C. Enjoy the large private yard with fire pit and level basketball area. There is plenty of space for a group of 10-12 to relax in comfort and style. Don't miss the famous Lake Michigan sunsets! The space appropriate for large families, families with children or teenagers, extended families, girlfriends' weekends, friend's get-togethers. Guest access entire house, yard, and garage are yours to enjoy, including basement which is not pictured or included in the room descriptions, but provides some extra hang-out space with a play-room and couch area. Other things to note Although my name (owner) is Ellen, we named the house after the Latin meaning of the name of our realtor, Amanda, which is "the one about the be loved," because our house was sitting there on the real estate market, about to be loved by us the moment we opened the door. |

This house was perfect for my friend's bachelorette party! We had 11 girls in the house and easily could have had more and used the couches to sleep on. The house was comfortable, clean and roomy. There were even s'more fixings left for us! Perfect location for a walk to the beach and into town. Couldn't have asked for a better place for the weekend! Definitely would recommend to anyone.
This was a great place for our family of eleven; three of which are six and under. It rained almost the entire time we were in South Haven, but the extra space provided in the basement and the garage saved us. The entire house was very warm and welcoming. Thank you for a memorable weekend getaway.
Ellen was the perfect host and extremely accommodating and communicative. Her home worked out great for our needs and had everything we could have asked for. Will definitely contact Ellen in the future should the need arise.
Lovely house in a fantastic location close to the lake and shops. The house was just the right size for 2 familes. Well equipped kitchen, very clean. Excellent communication and arrival information. The only point to note is the TV only plays DVDs no channels. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

This house was great for my 10 person reunion over Labor Day Weekend. Ellen was amazing as a host (very good at messaging on time) and everything in the house was just as described on the listing. The fire pit is nice, porches are great, and living room + dining room + kitchen easily fit our entire group.
