The Gathering Place... at Table Rock Lake

Great week at the lake. I appreciated that the owner sent a text early in our stay ensuring everything was like he promised, it showed he did care about making our week stay worth the money. Lake is an easy walk down the lane and the location is perfect. We'll be back!

Comfortable and cozy, nice deck, Great Lake access, particularly with dock access. We truly enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time with family. Families from Texas and Iowa met half way at The Gathering Place because of its location at about half way for everyone. Check in day was overcast and rainy but the remainder of the weekend was sunny and warm (in the mid 70's). We were able to visit Roaring River State Park, have a picnic lunch, and for those that were able, to walk a trail and climb the hills. Everyone took turns making a meal, with different recipes and foods for a variety of meals. Note: as always at gatherings, it was necessary to divide up the excess food that always seems to be abundant and was far to much to eat during a long weekend!! The house was very nice, and we all enjoyed our time together. A suggestion only: There may have been some heavy rains during the summer, but there appears to have been some erosion of the street and driveway which will likely continue if unchecked. We may choose a different location for our vacation for next year for a different adventure but we are planning on returning in the future for another stay, possibly in the summer. We did enjoy the change in colors while we were there, and the thrill ride roads which were in great shape but had very few flat straight stretches a very different driving experience than we are used to. Wow, what a nice place! Not to far from the waters edge placed perfectly in a quite cove. Big yard for the kids to play in. Also love how the boat slip was nicely padded with bumper guards. Hope to make it back soon!

This rental property was very nice. A great retreat on table rock lake. The directions on our gps didn’t tell us about carp lane so took us a few minutes to figure out on to get to the driveway. Carp road is unpacked rocky road, just FYI. My family and I enjoyed the home and was plenty of room for all of us.

The house was very clean and nice. We loved the details of the linens and towels. Made us feel like we were at a hotel but at home. The dock was near by and was great to have coffee on plus relax and swim at. I somehow thought we were staying off the water or at least could see the water front and we could not from the porch, but just a short walk. The road to the property was paved but the last leg of it to get to the house was very rocky and narrow. Truck did fine, our cars did not but no damage was done. IT was very hot out and were able to cool the house but the bedrooms and master bathroom was very warm. We definitely had to use fans to help push the cool air around. the Ac is noisy too. These really are just minor details and easily manageable. Over all, the stay and house was great and we would stay there again. The only thing that would have made it perfect....would be water views from the porch. Thank you for sharing your lake home with us!

We stayed here for our family vacation and it was perfect! Short walk to the dock where we kept our jet ski and kids swam off the large swim deck! The house was nice and had really comfy beds! We will be back next year!!!
