This lovely, secluded country retreat is just minutes from the MetroNorth station at Wassaic, so a very easy commute back to NYC. Also, just minutes from Hotchkiss prep school, Lakeville, Lime Rock and the Mudge Pond town beach. One master bedroom and two other bedrooms on the second floor, two on the first floor and a fully finished basement with lots of sleeping capacity and a 52 inch rear projection tv.

The place exceeded our expectations! Kitchen and porch were awesome! The rest of the house was amazing! Online pictures do not do the place justice, place is beautiful and very well maintained. Lots of space and very comfortable! Many little extras like good kitchen stuff were a plus and sitting on the porch in the evenings was a pleasure. We all were sorry to leave! (this was nicer than our homes!). Garrett (the owner) could not have been nicer and more accommodating! (and patient when answering my many questions). Most of our group day hiking on the AT or went to the towns/ state parks/ rail trails to hangout. Everyone had a great time, so much to do, so little time! Many thanks for an awesome stay!
This one is better than the pictures. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms, amazing kitchen and more spacious than expected. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house in an idyllic setting. Fantastic kitchen. Large, comfortable bedrooms. Beautiful, private yard. Perfect for our family weekend in Sharon. 5 minutes from Lion Rock Farm where we had a family wedding.

We rented Garrett's home for a family wedding in Sharon, CT. There were to be 7 adults, and two kids, but ultimately just 6 adults with the 2 kids. The house worked very well for us, and we all enjoyed the house, and especially the porch as it was a perfect weather weekend! Thank you, Garrett.
We stayed at this property for a long weekend while we were participating in a horse show at Town Hill Farm, just down the road. It was spacious, comfortable and perfectly close to our event location. We especially liked sitting out on the wrap around porch in the mornings and evenings. Very peaceful. Great setting! Only hiccup was not having cell service in the valley and the WiFi was very limited. The teens loved the nearby beach!
The photos of this cabin don’t do it justice. This is a beautiful well kept home with comfortable beds and tons of room for enjoying being together with family and friend.
