Also there are other species of fish to catch such as catfish, bream, white perch, and stripe. Certain times of the year shrimp come up the river and are easily caught with a cast net. My family and I enjoyed our time at Steve's place. The house is spotless, spacious, and lovely. The dock has a sink, which was nice for cleaning our catch. The neighborhood was quite and the location is good for a home base if you want to go visit St Augustine (about an hour away) or Daytona.
We had an outstanding time at Steve's waterfront property. We used the boat house to store our boat, which was nice to be able to just get on the boat and go. The covered area was beautiful to sit under at night, the cool breeze was a treat coming off the river. We also, took advantage of the wildlife at night, it was very relaxing. Steve's house was furnished with a beachy feel, it had all the amenities that we could possibly need. We absolutely loved it and look forward to visiting again! Thanks again, for going above and beyond to make us feel like it was our own place for the weekend!!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Right on the water and we were able to keep our boat at the dock throughout our stay. We enjoyed fishing the lake and the river and taking in the springs. The owner is very friendly and met us at the house to get us all settled in.
A great quiet place to unwind. Steve the owner was exceptionally accommodating and maintains this property meticulously! The dock extends well into the river and has a great outdoor kitchen and seating area. We brought our boat and spent the weekend at the springs and along the river and lake. Steve recommended some great restaurants nearby and we couldn’t have had a better experience. We will certainly be back and would highly recommend staying here!
Great location for boating on St. John's river and Lake George. Nice home with good accommodations for several people. Would reccomend.
Although the house needs some updating, it was very clean, and the dock was a great place to hang out. We saw various species of birds and even a manatee right at the dock. Steve was wonderful to do business with. He was quick to respond and very accommodating. I highly recommend staying here and hope to be back in the future.
We had a great time here. Steve is a great owner and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again. Already looking forward to our next trip.

Steve’s home is exactly as pictured, possibly better! Our family enjoyed the home, amenities, oversized dock and weather. Steve is a wonderful host that truly wants you to enjoy all that the property has to offer. Highly recommended!
I wanted a house where I could keep my boat and had enough room for 3 couples. This house met and exceeded my expectations. It was extremely clean inside and had everything one would need. The dock was perfect for our boat and the boathouse was so nice to sit and play cards with my friends. The view was unbelievable. I wish I could post a pic because words just don’t do it justice. The owner was very nice and eager to help with anything we needed. If I had to say anything bad (and it’s not bad) I would say it says there’s a hot tub but I didn’t see one. However, the downstairs bathroom has a huge tub which could be what it’s referring to. We will definitely be returning next year!
