Thisisit-Too Lakefront Cottage Includes 22' Pontoon Boat and Sandy Beach!

We really enjoyed our week at Thisisit-Too. The house was well maintained. The owners thought of a lot and included many little extras. We really enjoyed using the pontoon and fishing on the lake was great. They even had a cleaning station. The kids enjoyed the sandy beach and we all enjoyed using the kayaks. During our time we almost had the lake to ourselves. It was so peaceful.

Randy & Melody, WOW! As return renters of your cottage, this is the best word to express the family's reaction to seeing all your updates. Totally new kitchen, enlarged, new floor, new cabinets, new appliances, big and small, new living room furniture, new ceiling, new picturesque wall and a wonderful new walk in shower. I can not complement you enough on a terrific project. We look forward to returning in the coming years and have recommended your property to other relatives and friends.

We loved your cottage - it was the perfect fit for us! The location made it seem like we were away from it all, but we were still able to get to a pizza place or the grocery store without a crazy long drive. The beach area and kayaks kept my kids (15 & 13) and dog entertained for HOURS. Add in the boat, and our family was set! Well, and the lounge chairs for this mom to sit in the sun, both on the beach and on the deck, and read. haha The fishing was a bummer, but you never know if that was the fisherman's issue or not. ;) The trees and lake breezes kept us cool even on the hottest days of July. We trekked over to Lumberman's Monument and the Iargo Springs which are definitely worth the trip. I dare you to keep your bare feet in that water for longer than 20 seconds!! My husband, myself and our German Shepherd rented the house for a weekend. Had an amazing time. Very relaxing. The house was in wonderful condition. Great little beach area out back along with a pontoon boat. We brought our fishing gear and caught some nice bass and a northern pike. Our dog was crazy over the beach and water and did tons of swimming. He was pooped! There's also some great hiking trails about 20 minutes north of the house in the state park. Would definitely rent again :)

Our family of 6 started our summer vacation off here, with a bang, at this amazing property. I am telling you that EVERYTHING you could possibly need, is HERE! No detail went unnoticed. The cottage was beautifully decorated with that rustic, cabin look. Fully stocked, updated kitchen had every single possible thing you would need and more. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. My kids LOVED the boat and beach area. The kayaks were a total hit too. We spent a lot of time outside, playing in the sand and just enjoying the peace and quiet. The surrounding neighbors were friendly too! My boys enjoyed exploring the sandbar and the "Loon island", as they called it, in the Kayak's. We also got to see a bald eagle. The sunsets were unreal. Talk about front row seats to God's handiwork! A small town is located just minutes away with a grocery store that sells the most AMAZING fresh bread. We also were very close to some great sights like Lumberman's Monument and Huron National Park. We LOVED this stay so much that we are hoping to make it one of our annual family getaways. After a full week here, we were all sad to leave. It truly felt like home! A special thank you to Melody and Randy for making this cottage so cozy. You guys went above and beyond to meet the needs of your guests. <3

We just had the best time at Thisisit Cottage too! We flew in from California to visit our huge family. Melody was so supportive and helpful. A canopy of trees shaded the huge deck that seated at least 20 people. The cabin is darling with great WiFi and cable. The kitchen is well equipped and has a wonderful big island. The beach was perfect and easy to access. We fished, boated and went for kayak rides every day. What a great time we had and made lovely memories!

A great cottage with a nice remodel job that was very warm, cozy and a open floor concept. We had a great time at the cottage kayaking, and canoeing. We swam off the boat in the sandbar and done some fishing but the fishing was not very good, but is always hit or miss. Our fur baby Roxy (german shepherd) absolutely loved the lake and was wore out every night. My kids loved kayaking the lake the most in early am and late evening. Beautiful sunsets and great sky view when having a nice bonfire making smores. Thank you Melody and Randy for allowing us to rent your gorgeous cabin, bring our dog . The owners are very easy to work with, very accommodating, and respond very quickly to all your concerns. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we will definitely be back.

My husband and our three adults sons, daughter in law and granddaughter spent four days at this lovely cabin. The cabin itself is incredibly nice, kitchen was well stocked, living room was a good size, and back deck was spacious. The baby enjoyed the sandy beach and water. The pontoon was wonderful, spent a considerable amount of time on the lake and we caught a few fish. Went to Tawas to tour the lighthouse which was very fun. The lake was absolutely gorgeous at night with the reflection of the surrounding homes lighting! The area was very quiet and the few neighbors we met were very friendly. It was nice to vacation with our dog and one son brought his dog as well. Biggest mistake I made was not booking more than four days here!!!! All of my conversations were with Melody and she was fantastic to deal with. Simply put, we fell in love with this lake and area. Our group agreed, one of the best vacations we have enjoyed together! Would definitely recommend and rebook at this cabin. Thanks so much Melody!

Our family had the most amazing time at this immaculate cottage. It was so well-maintained and perfect for us. The pontoon boat with definitely the highlight of the week. The beach was incredible. We spent many hours of swimming, reading, playing. I do not have one complaint about this vacation. I would definitely recommend this cottage. I am very fussy about staying at cottages and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation.

This cottage was great for our family vacation. Me, my husband and our 2 boys - 14 & 11 - stayed here for a week. The cottage is clean and well decorated - super cute touches to make the cottage extra cozy/confortable. We enjoyed the cottage, boat, kayaks, canoe and paddle board. Everything was in great shape and easy to access. We felt at home for the week. Property owner/manager was super nice & helpful before, during and after our stay.
