8 college friends enjoyed a long weekend in this beautiful home. It is a great getaway with everything you need. The home has a fabulous kitchen and large dining room. Plenty of bedrooms and lovely upscale bathrooms.We utilized the great screened in porch for breakfast. Loved the pool. The home is very close to a path that leads to Lake Michigan for sunset viewing or walks. We all want to return soon.
Grand Retreat is exactly as described -- a grand home, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained for a restful, relaxing vacation. The house comes fully equipped (everything you could need in the kitchen, golf cart, beach chairs and towels, pool toys, games, books, DVDs, etc.), and even provides the nice little "extras" that most rental homes do not (paper products, shampoo and bath gel). The owner/property manager is extremely nice, and responded immediately when needed (when we locked ourselves out!). This property is perfect for a family vacation, a couples getaway, or a girls weekend. Loved it!

We had the most wonderful time at this home. It was stocked with more than expected in a vacation rental, beautiful accommodations and incredibly spacious. Our group traveled from various places and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time together. Thank you!
The house was well-equipped for 4 small families with a large dining room, updated well equipped modern kitchen and bathrooms with all the amenities Including lots of bath towels, beach towels, shampoo, soaps, dishwashing liquid and some board games and DVDs. We loved the heated swimming pool and the golf cart was a great way to get out and see the lake and neighborhood. There were no pictures of the lower level which is very spacious and has 2 double beds and a very nice bathroom with extra washer and dryer. The Inlaw suite is nice but small and did not cool as well as the rest of the house. The windows in that room also do not have screens so hard to leave the windows open at night. We were very pleased with the accommodations and found it very comfortable for our family. Mary was responsive when needed making our stay more relaxing and enjoyable.
This property is well appointed and well maintained . The rooms in the house are generous, so great for families. The owners make your stay so comfortable by stocking soaps, shampoos, and paper goods. There are games and DVDs for all ages and an indoor jacuzzi if the weather does not cooperate. But when the weather is good the screened in porch and pool are terrific . Two golf carts are provided so you can drive around Grand Beach and at dusk run over a block to see the sunset. The area is quiet and having a nine hole golf course, tennis courts and a playground is a huge plus. New Buffalo has great restaurants and a wonderful grocery store. About 10 minutes up Rte 12 is Nani's with the best muffins! You are not far from breweries and vineyards and the outlet stores. So there is something for all ages. Unfortunately because Lake Michigan is so high there is no accessible beach one block from the house but further south in Grand Beach there is beach. However, the New Buffalo public beach is minutes away and great and Warren Dunes just a bit north has a fabulous beach as well. This is our second year renting this property and I hesitate to let everyone know how great it is because we don't want the competition in renting it!
The house was so clean. Beds were very comfortable. Pool was heated and was perfect eventhough the weather was in the upper 60's. Hot tub was the best i have been in. Kitchen was very well stocked. Overall a great girls trip. This was our 2nd year in a row to stay here and will be back next year! Thank you Mary Prescott.
There are 9-10 of us women who get together once or twice a year for girls weekend. This property was the best we found in the 10 years we have been doing this. Plenty of room, very clean and the best stocked house we have stayed at. We usually go out on Saturday but the house was so comfortable that we stayed in and made dinner and swim. The pool and hot tub were clean and pool heated. Mary the owner is very easy to work with. We will be back. Thanks Mary

Grand Beach was an extremely clean and roomy house. The owner was very responsive to any issues that we had. We would definitely stay at Grand Beach again.
Our week at this house was amazing! It is ten times more beautiful than the pictures show. Everything was extremely clean and tidy. Mary was awesome and extremely responsive. We hope to stay here again next year!
