We had such a wonderful and memorable weekend. Very picturesque and ever so quiet when you're there mid season. There were wineries and breweries within a short driving distance, and the local restaurants are spot on. I would not suggest using GPS, it gets you in the vicinity but not to the right house. Thank goodness for pictures of the house. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful, but bring your own trash bags and sandwich bags etc. The master bath and bed is very nice. We loved the bed so much that we are buying a mattress exactly like it because we slept so well. My only other suggestion would be to have the house ready for arrival. The house was cold, and the entry way was not swept, I picked up a few pieces of trash laying around on the driveway, but I am a Manager of a very nice Boutique Hotel so I notice these small things. All in all it was so lovely and I would definitely stay again.
I booked this rental for a long weekend trip with friends. We LOVED it. Because of the number of people/couples in our party, we needed several bedrooms with combinations of single and double beds and it worked out great. Since it rained for a good part of the weekend, we enjoyed the pool table and the ping pong table. The rental was also conveniently located to the ski resorts. Due to the weather, we didn't get to use the campfire area or the hot tub, but they looked nice as well.
A great long weekend surprise birthday for my wife was made even more fantastic because of The Trinity. Tremendous location, amenities, and cleanliness we could not ask for any more. The pool table, table tennis and video games kept the grandchildren occupied while the adults enjoyed the deck and hot tub and the view.
A group of six of us rented this house for four days in September. We rode our bikes up to the house and found a welcoming place to rest! The garage was extremely useful, as we could park our bikes inside at night. Hot tub on back porch and fire pit added to the relaxed atmosphere. Kitchen is very well equipped and we all found the sleeping areas very comfortable. Only drawback to whole experience is the tight road leading up to the Trinity. Wouldn't recommend to novice riders.
Spent a long weekend here. The location was perfect. Some of our family skied, some shopped and some just relaxed at the home. Was really glad we had a 4 wheel drive up the road to the home although some of our family made it up okay with a 2 wheel drive. The home was very clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. The only problem we experienced was with the coffee maker and once we contacted the owner she took care of it right away. We enjoyed the hot tub a great deal! My teenage boys really enjoyed the upstairs bedroom with the video game systems & huge TV.
Our stay in The Trinity was fabulous. A beautiful house on top of the mountain. Such a relaxing place to enjoy God's majestic mountain creation. This was perfect for a quiet get away with my husband. Very secluded yet close enough to many of the...More
We stayed at the Trinity for 3 nights as part of a weekend ski trip. The location is very convenient to Sugar Mountain, and is also only a 15-20 minute drive to Beech. It is also very convenient to the grocery store and ski rental shops. In regards to the house itself... it was home away from home. Everything you need from linens/towels/soap to kitchen utensils to make a comfortable stay. The extra/2nd dryer in the garage was a very nice touch for drying all of our ski gear! Amenities were top notch as well! Lots to keep you entertained around the house between the pool table, ping pong table, playstation 3, and hot tub. We would definitely stay again for another ski trip to the Banner Elk area!
Was amazing all the time in the house..! Great location ..! The house is huge and all the rooms are in perfect conditions.!.! We had so much fun playing on the snow..!.!
Beautiful home with lots of extras! Pretty view! Lots of room and beautifully decorated. Our college age kids loved all the home had to offer...pool table, ping pong, basketball, and video games. The owners were great making us feel welcome and gettting info to us. It was a great place for our family get together! We will definitely stay here again!!
This was the first for our family, taking a winter vacation. It was awesome and the house was great. Had verything we needed and more. I have small grandchildren and we had lots of fun playing inside during the cold. The hot tub was fun and invigorating in the 20ish degree weather. My kids enjoyed skiing on Monday while we stayed warm by the fire at the house with our 1 yr old grandson. The snow on Tuesday was perfect for sleighing and playing outside. I would definitely recommend.
