Great comfortable private place to stay. Owner was very helpful and fast to act when we had a problem. Would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed kayaking in the waterway, and the beach was gorgeous although too cold for swimming. We enjoyed long walks though and relaxing at the cottage. The owner and caretaker are both very nice.

The property was clean, roomy, very comfortable and close to shopping. It is in a quiet and safe area. Best of all, (for me) it is very close to a pizzaria where true New York Style pizza is made! Nice people to work with. I would recommend this place highly. I would, however, suggest you bring a few pots and pans. The teflon cookware is worn and flaking; still, this was a minor concern as my daughter lived close by.
We really loved Thrush Cottage, the location was great, the home was very nice and comfortable inside, it’s such a lovely place that my sister found herself wanting to live there year round! Mike and Carolyn were such nice people, they were like family. We highly recommend Thrush Cottage for your next vacation destination.
My family and I spent two weeks at Thrush Cottage. The cottage is exactly as displayed on line and more. It was very clean, easy to find, and private. The cottage has a nice big yard for children and pets. The back deck is wonderful for relaxing, grilling out and playing games. The cottage has a lot of room and the bedrooms are big. The cottage can accommodate a large group, and everyone still have privacy when needed. Michael and Carolyn are wonderful! Both checked to make sure we had everything we needed, and was so helpful. If Michael will have us, we would love to stay at Thrush Cottage again. It was so comfortable, that we felt like we were at home!
We had a wonderful time at this little cottage. From the moment we arrived Carolyn was veey accomodative and made sure that we had everything that we needed from directions to a griddle. We enjoyed the dock by the beautiful intercoastal waterway and our boys had lots of fun fishing.
We stayed for the week with our kids and absolutely loved it. The home is located in a quiet community. We spent mornings sitting on the large covered back deck listening to the peacefulness. We brought our boat and enjoyed the convenience of the community boat ramp. The location is great because it is a very short drive to the beach, restaurants, and stores. We would definitely stay here again.
