Vacation Home On Canyon Lake, Just Thirty Minutes To Mt. Rushmore

We just left here today and I wanted to make sure I gave it the excellent review it deserves! The campground was quiet, clean and great location for what we had planned (crazy horse, bear country, keystone). We stayed in the Deer Glenn Lodge and it was clean, quaint, and very spacious! Plenty of room for 8 adults and 7 kids. The two grills and deck made it easy and relaxing for the whole family to enjoy being outside. It was a great vacation and Deer Glenn Lodge had a lot to do with that! And Monty was very friendly and helpful! Great place to stay!

We rented the Deer Glen Lodge for a family vacation that included 7 adults and 7 children (4 households).With two living room areas (upstairs and downstairs) we had plenty of space for adults to visit and kids to play. The house was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would definitely visit again!

Absolutely beautiful area, the cabin is surrounded by plenty of lush grass for playing. There are two kitchens stocked with anything you may need for cooking and entertaining. The upstairs offers privacy for younger families or children. The wrap around deck offers plenty of grills and seating for enjoying family time meals. The campground itself is in a great quiet location central to every attraction in the area. Another plus is the grocery store and down town attractions are just minutes away. The cleanliness is impeccable and the staff, including the owners Scott and Sherry, as well as the manager Chace, (and Monte in the office! Very knowledgable about the area and places you should visit) are more than accommodating should you need anything during your stay. I highly recommend this campground and this cabin in particular for family get togethers or a rental to share during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally!

Very quiet, good location. Fun to watch deer. Plenty of room, nice and clean. We were on the go all day long, would have liked to stay and enjoy the lake and park.

Family gathering for our anniversary. The house was clean, very comfortably appointed, and had a well equipped kitchen. Location was ideal for us with four children included. Really was a delightful week made even better by the excellent accommodations and the friendly staff. Highly recommend this house and this resort.

It was a great vacation! Best place we have stayed at after several years of vacationing in SD! The only thing that would have made it better is if they offered a discount for so many nights, like a flat rate for a week instead of per night.

This property is exactly what we needed. It was close to what we had planned and comfy while we relaxed. We would stay here again.

Great location, great service

This place was amazing in the center of every place we wanted to go. Stayed in this comfortable affordable cabin and did day trips to the badlands, Mt. Rushmore, black hills, Sturgis, Deadwood, Devils Tower and many more. Place was clean comfortable and cozy. We were able to get up fix breakfast then head out for the day. Had 4 adults and was enough space that we had privacy but were able to share the week together. I would definitely stay here again.
