Beachfront 6 bdr-directly

The directions to this house - where the highway dead-ends take a left, and after the road turns to dirt drive another 3km to where the electrical poles end, then take a right down to the beach - say it all. All we heard were birds and waves, and we woke every morning to a beautiful sunrise streaming right into the casita. We left the doors and windows open, we used the kayaks and the paddleboards that could be safely left right on the beach, and we made our meals from the fresh produce and excellent coffee available at the local mini supermercado. Carol and Willie were so helpful and hospitable. Clear water, no worries. Loved every minute of it.

My family and I (total of 6 of us) just returned from an Amazing vacation thanks to Carol and Willie whom I must say are the coolest and sweetest people ever! We stayed in the 2nd floor home plan which comfortably fit the 6 of us-3 teenagers and my sister, my husband and I ! We really felt as if it was our own home , we Cooked in 2 nights of the fish we caught in the day , we even had a wonderful Variety of fish dinner with Carol and Willie one evening and it was so much fun!! I loved waking up in the morning to the beautiful sunrise and taking a walk in my pj's ! Lots to do and enjoy our kids loved Kayaking!! I really can't say enough greatness about this place! We plan to return in a few months !!!!! We all already miss Carol and Willie!!!!!!! YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE OWNERS!!! *Advisory if you are a Fisherman or plan to fish and bring fish back with you to the States :all airlines policy says to freez and ziplock and place in a cooler to take it back , as we did BUT unfortunately we flew SPIRIT AIRLINE and Spirit Air "says" you must Vaccum pack it although it does not say that in their policy it just says to seal in a bag (which we did but The spirit Air Rep argued it was packed against policy) so you will not be able to bring your fish back and will donate it to the locals as we did :( be aware of Spirit Air !! We plan to fly All other Airlines !!

My husband and I met our far-flung adult children at Willie and Carol's for a family vacation. It was, hands down, the most relaxing vacation I've ever had. Lulled by the turquoise waters, bright blue skies, and moon-rises so beautiful, I could have stayed for months. Willie and Carol are the most gracious of hosts, they seem to know everyone in the area and can arrange boat rides that pick you up at the beach, kite boarding or wind surfing lessons, scuba lessons, or just hand you their bag of scuba gear and point you to the sea. Our favorite past-time was to bob in the ocean with the snorkels in the rocks and reefs near the sandy beach that trails well off shore for easy access. If you go, be sure to stop at Adela's for Huevos Rancheros one morning! Willie and Carol have lots of recommendations for food. Whether you want to shop at fresh farmers markets and fish markets, or go out. If you go, like us you'll never want to leave! :) to have gone, :( to leave, ;) keep a bed ready for me.

Oceanfront views, sounds of the waves, picture perfect sunrises, and dolphin sightings from the balcony. La Ventana / El Sargento in BCS is a wonderful, warm-hearted town with a nice mix of expats, kiters, fisher-people, retirees. Very comfortable and homey (rented the upstairs). Don't miss the fresh seafood in town and snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez! World class kitesurfing (hoping to get up on that board next season!). Thanks for an inspiring stay and "home away from home" at Casa Ornelas.

Came to La Ventana (El Sargento) for a kiteboarding vacation with another couple. This was our first trip here and wasn't sure about staying "in town" or "up the road". We opted for "up the road" and booked the downstairs 2 bed, 1 bath. This is a deluxe property without being too over the top. Everything about this place gives you the feeling that you're on vacation in a special place. From the beautiful sunrises to the pink sky sunsets over the tourmaline colored sea. So many options for water and day-trip activities. The mornings are great for glassy paddle-boarding and/or crystal clear water snorkeling. In the afternoon the winds kick-up and provide a clean sheet of strong predictable winds. Topping off the whole experience are the owners Carol and Willie. They are so kind and caring and committed to making your stay a true vacation that when you leave, you feel like you're leaving your new home behind...but just like me...you'll be back soon!

We had an incredible trip staying in the Casitas (two couples in our group)! The view is incredible and they are literally on the beach. They are each set up like a studio, but have plenty of space for a couple (large kitchen stocked with all the essential cooking utensils, a sitting area that looks out on the beach, and a bed with night stands). There is no dishwasher, but a cleaning service is included, so you can leave your dishes in the sink and they will be taken care of the next day while you're out adventuring. Each Casita also has an inside and outside shower (with a door in between). The locations / views are excellent as they are, but they have added hammocks and numerous shaded outdoor seating areas that really help you enjoy the views. Our main mission here was fishing (spearfishing and hook and line fishing) and Carol and Willie helped arrange for us to fish with a local fisherman every day for a very reasonable price. He even picked us up and dropped us off of the boat right on the beach in front of the Casitas! The mission was successful - left after a week with 120 pounds of fish! Seems like we'll be set on fish for a year plus, but I'm sure we'll be back sooner than that! Highly recommend staying here!

This was our second time staying here. Last time we stayed in the Casitas, this time in the upper story of the house. Just a beautiful view from up there! The house is well-stocked with beach towels, kitchen supplies, etc.. There are air conditioning units in the kitchen and each bedroom. Willie and Carol are absolutely wonderful at making sure your trip is everything you want it to be. We like to fish, so they connected us with a local fisherman who drove his boat directly to the beach in front of their property to pick us up / drop us off. We had very successful fishing trips AND (the highlight of my trip) came upon a pod of Orcas that swam right up to / around the boat. It was incredible!

Very nice facility ocean front and very nice and helpful owner operators.

Our group of six families (12 adults and 8 young kids) really enjoyed our stay. We took full advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards, and the sea view terraces. The amount of space was great for a large group. Carol was very helpful with local recommendations and arrangements.
