4 Bedroom Beach House Overlooking Ocean, Madaket Beach & Conservation Land.

I have been enjoying Madaket for 20 years and this was the best home we stayed in. The house is well appointed with a fantastic view over protected land and the ocean. The location is PERFECT to enjoy beach living and still convenient to town via the shuttle. The owner was attentive checking in with us when we arrived and after we left. I'd easily recommend this home and look forward to my journey back next summer.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed home with wonderful views. The house had everything you could ask for - fluffy beach towels, luxurious bed linens, a real cook's kitchen and a great deck with a large dining table and comfy chairs from which to enjoy the view. Best of all this was all an extremely short walk to a great sandy beach for swimming, surfing and sunbathing! In season Millie's is just around the corner and is a great place to go for a quick fish taco and beer or if you tire of the beach (it can happen!) you can catch the bus into town for fine dining and shopping. You really can't beat the location and the house's appointments. We look forward to coming back here again.

This was our 2nd year staying in this home. The owner continues to make nice upgrades during the off season. The house is always well appointed, very comfortable and an absolute pleasure. The owners are very accommodating. The picture doesn't lie. This house is in an ideal location near Madaket beach, the Madaket bike path and the shuttle stop to town. The views from the nice large back deck are the best on the island. Millie's is a very close restaurant and convenience store that makes the location that much more ideal. Overall, this is the ideal home, in the ideal location on the ideal Island. Drop your bags and hit the surf. It is all right there for you. And don't forget the Sun Sets!

We have enjoyed our stays at this beautiful home for over ten years. The owners are wonderful. The house is special. From the unobstructed ocean views, breathtaking sunsets, the warm, welcoming and well-appointed home, to the beautiful landscape - we love the flowering hibiscus- Seal Dog is a family favorite destination.

The beach house “Seal Dog” was exactly as described and met all our expectations and more. The ocean view from kitchen, living area and deck was unobstructed and beautiful. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need and more. The yard was large and the grass was lush for our toddlers running around. You also had a beautiful view from the ground level. The beach was only a few house down the road. We had many dinners from Millie’s which were delicious and coffee in the morning too. Bike path was right out the front door and made it so easy to explore the island. The shuttle bus comes every half hour to town and we survived the week easily with no car! The owner of the home was very attentive and answered all our questions immediately. The house supplied beach chairs, beach towels and many sand toys. Madaket has a beachy, casual and charming vibe and we can’t wait to go back next year.

- house was perfectly located for beach, Millie’s and the bike track - house was well set up, very comfortable and well equipped. The outdoor shower after a day at the beach was perfect. The deck provided wonderful views of the ocean, a gas grill and large dining table - all very social. - Paul was accessible, focused on the details, considerate and keen for feedback - very focused on ensuring we had a great vacation. - I would highly recommend this property for a party of 8 who are not looking to be in the middle of town, love eating out on the deck with ocean views and sunsets and want to be a short walk to a great beach (and easy drive to all the others).
