A massive 4,000 square foot luxury lodge ideal for family gatherings, reunions, wedding parties, church retreats, or corporate getaways located in the exclusive Maranatha Resort in beautiful Cosby, Tennessee. Conveniently located, Maranatha Resort community is located at the crossroads of Hwy 32 and Hwy 321 just 15 miles from the Gatlinburg city limits. It is also only 1 mile from the Cosby Entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park having numerous free hiking trails for the nature lovers in all of us! Additional nearby attractions include 20 minutes to the new Rocky Top Sports Complex in Gatlinburg, zip-lining at Foxfire Mountain, mountain biking at Climbworks, golfing at Bent Creek Golf Course (rated as one of the best courses in the South), and 30 minutes from great white water rafting in Hartford, TN. Upon arrival to your lodge, you will be first greeted by your porch swing for those relaxing moments to reflect. On this first level you will find 2 master bedroom suites, one regular bedroom, living room with fireplace, dining room, complete kitchen with granite countertops, the heated swimming pool room, and half bathroom. The large deluxe hot tub awaits you just outside the pool room on the back deck. The upstairs level consists of 1 very large master bedroom suite with 2 bunk beds, one regular bedroom, one full size bathroom, theatre room featuring 90" projector system with surround sound, and loft area with pool table and arcade game. Bear Pool Lodge offers the perfect mountain log cabin to make your family memories! So much to enjoy you may never want to leave the cabin. Enjoy a swim in the pool, relaxing dip in the hot tub, a movie in the theatre room, roasting marshmallows on your firepit, or a competitive game of pool, horseshoes in the backyard , or a classical game on the multigame arcade machine. We had a wonderful time making memories with our children and grandchildren. Will definitely go back next year.
This cabin was perfect! We needed a week to unplug and relax and that is exactly what we did. There was plenty of space in the cabin for all 11 of us to relax without feeling like we were on top of each other. The 2 & 6 year old's loved watching their cartoons on the big screen while the rest of the kids couldn't get enough of the pool and hot tub! The kids also loved learning how to play pool and even found a new love for Pac Man. We took our cornhole boards and enjoyed hours of outside fun while enjoying the smell and sight of the fire. The only thing that could have made this cabin better would be better shower heads and covered charcoal grills. However, the gas grill was very large so most of the cooking was able to be done on it and we just finished the food on the charcoal grills for the flavor! :) Michael was awesome to work with as well! We only had one minor issue when the arcade machine malfunctioned and he had someone out within hours to get it back up and running for us! We will definitely be back in the future!!!
My family an I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and we ALL loved it we had a wonderful time here the kids loved the Pool , the theater room , and the game room and with all the bedrooms it has my kids got their own rooms which was a BIG plus . I can't thank Michael enough he worked with us an answered any questions I had he's AMAZING!!! MY FAMILY AND I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO BEAR POOL LODGE!! BEST MINI VACATION WE'VE HAD!!!! AGAIN THANK U MICHEAL FOR ALL UR HELP!!! ....IVE ALREADY BEEN TELLING ALL MY FAMILY AN FRIENDS ABOUT THIS CABIN......THANKS AN HAVE A BLESSED TIME HERE
The property was exactly what we needed for our family of 12. Everyone enjoyed the pool ,hot tub, theater and game room. The cabin was fully equipped and we relaxed around the fire pit and saw 2 bear! Thanks for a fun vacation and we would definitely recommend you to anyone.
We will be married 50 years in December so I brought my whole family to the Bear Pool Lodge in July. We had 14 of my 16 member family. Everything was great. Lodge was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Struggled for a can opener but after struggling with a manual one, we saw the electric can opener on the counter.. DUH! We had a slight issue with the pool(temperature ) but Micheal addressed the issue promptly and everyone was swimming within a few hours. The pool & hot tub was used frequently by 5 grandkids and it was great. The lodge has so much, that the kids couldn't get their fill of everything. Pool matches, arcade games, board games, movie theater plus very close to White water rafting. We loved the house and hope to return soon. Thanks Michael!

Had a very nice stay. The listing and pictures were accurate. The cabin was outfitted well. We were able to bring in food for meals from burgers with homemade potato salad to backed chicken breast and mac and cheese. It would s located nicely in a quiet small street. The location worked well for us since we jumped down to NC to hike and raft. Still close enough to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for activities there. I would highly recommend the rental.
Thank you for an awesome experience in the smokies ... your cabin offer everything we could possible want and more- mike was so attentive... easy check in/and access to mike - the location was perfect - not far from hikes or town - the week went too fast and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you for creating memories for our children and grandchildren
This Property have all the amenities. Pool,WiFi, loads of games you can’t even think of how many games they have. Grill both gas and coal. Well maintained bed and bath rooms with good furniture. I love the wall paintings. It’s veey close to Gatlinburg and attractions. I will definitely stay again at this property.
This house is absolutely gorgeous! It is located in a quiet, woodsy, resort area with only similar like homes on the street. It is a great house for multiple families to gather and meet. Sleeps 20 but also has air beds and plenty of room to use them. The pool and hot tub are an amazing addition and the theater is beautiful! You are about an hour or so from Gatlinburg and also from Cherokee. You can get anywhere within the hour but you have a peaceful area to stay where your not surrounded by tourists which was just what I wanted. I had 8 friends meet me there from all over the USA and those that drove brought sewing supplies and machines as we have a yearly quilting/sewing reunion. We will definitely rent the house again for our reunion!!!
