Beautiful scenic location, nice area and home to relax in.
A very nice place in a scenic location. I particularly enjoyed this old wooden house :)
The house was exactly as described. It was in a nice location, very well maintained and cute. We visited during the coldest part of the winter - temperatures were around zero outside. When we arrived the home was freezing cold (50 degrees). The heat was on and we could feel it gently coming from the radiators. During the first couple of hours, after lighting a roaring fire in the fireplace and wood burning stove, and using a space heater provided, we were able to get the temperature to almost 60 degrees. The house is very old and not insulated, with visible cracks in areas to the outdoors. When we woke up the next morning, and the fires were out, the house had returned to 50 degrees and we ended up having to leave early. The home should not be rented during the dead of winter.
Wonderful winter get-away location. Great value, great location. Secluded, but not too far away from shops, stores, etc. Incredible hiking experience RIGHT behind the property with beautiful views of the surrounding valley. The house is larger than the pictures show. Plenty of room to comfortably house multiple guests. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Barbara is an incredibly hospitable host. You won't be disappointed.
The house is very rustic and cozy. Nothing like gathering around the fireplace. Barbara is a great host and replied immediately to any questions. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We had a great stay at Barbara's! Incredible location right in the Catskills. Lots of hiking all around.
This place is great! My wife and son came down for a three day weekend and had a blast making bonfires, grilling and roaming the property which is very unique, woods pond cliffs. We also dove to kaaterskill falls, and visited woodstock which is close. would love to stay again!
