Mill Pond Pavilion is close, a community building with paddle wheel, wishing well & stocked trout ponds, great place to watch the kids enjoy the great outdoors. We loved our family reunion getaway at the High Country Lodge. The accommodations were very clean and the house is well stocked for any needs. William is a wonderful host and we enjoyed all of his recommendations and his quick response to any questions we had. School had begun so it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves.

This cabin was incredible! Views, ammeneties, porches, etc. Great family cabin with room to spread out! We loved it!
House is approx 5 miles from clubhouse which is a hearty 35 min drive! Nice location at end of Street, close to greeter's cottage. The Clark's have so many thoughtful touches at the property, right down to coffee filters and spices! Great stay. Had a problem with AC unit that the owner was aware of but it happened over the weekend and could not get maintenance in during our stay. Luckily Sunday was much cooler so we opened the windows. Nice property for a family gathering.
My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. It was very comfortable and the amenities were very thoughtfully considered. What a beautiful, relaxing vacation.

Great home for my whole family to come and spend some time together! It had plenty of room for the seven of us and very comfortable! Area had plenty of activities and places to go...only issue was we didn't stay longer. Looking forward to returning!!
We were 7 adults getting together for a little family time. The home was perfect with so many welcoming touches that it really didn’t feel like a rental. Mr. Clark was excellent with communication and details and there is a wealth of information at the cottage about the surrounding area and things to do. It was so peaceful and the bed so comfortable that we all left revived and well-rested. . Definitely stop at the grocery in Sylva on your way to the house and stock up because it’s about 25 min one way if you forget something!
Came up for the WCU Homecoming with other couples and we absolutely loved this house!!! Nicely decorated, very cozy, plenty of room and overall awesome experience!! Highly recommend renting this property. We will be back!!!
This was the perfect spot for a fall getaway weekend with our adult children and grandchildren. The house is spotless and had everything we needed for cooking in and even had portacribs and a high chair for the little ones and dog dishes for the family pets. Beautiful hiking and mountain views all around. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any of our questions. Lovely home and community- would definitely love to come back!
