We had a great vacation at this condo. It was quiet and a walk to the beach. The beach is long and flat; a great beach to have morning runs. The condo is very nicely decorated, clean and homey. We had everything we needed to cook a meal and a short drive to restaurants. I would recommend F
With a 9 and 6 year old this location was fabulous - ground floor walkout in the end . So well equipped. Do not bring any beach towels, sand toys , cooking spices, beach chairs, boogie boards . In other words, bring your swim suit and sun lotion. Thanks Ed and Betty for a great vacation
We had a wonderful stay at this property - the location cannot be beat! The beach is just a short walk away and the views from the condo are amazing! You have the advantage of being on the first floor, but can still see the beach and the ocean - one of a kind! The condo was well stocked with beach items, kitchen items, towels, etc. Communication with the owners was fast and reliable. Overall, a GREAT place to stay - we loved it!
My family of eight had an amazing time over the July 4th holiday. So close to the beach, easy access to pool and parking and plenty of room for all 8. Everything about our stay was amazing and we will definitely be back.
Our stay was amazing, the condo is very comfortable, clean and so easy to get to and from the beach! Fantastic views, wonderful for kids and adults, and we really enjoyed our 7 night stay! We ran into only two problems during our stay and they were pretty minor. First, when checking in, make sure you know the unit number! The check in lady was not patient as I was scrolling through my phone, I tried to tell her I know it was somewhere in the info and she just kept berating me, saying she can�t help me if I couldn�t figure it out. Now this was my fault, I should�ve memorized the unit number before checking in, but after a 7.5 hour drive with 2 kids, I couldn�t find it anywhere! We finally figured it out.. I can say she was not any help for the remainder of our stay. But the maintenance people were amazing; they would stop what they were doing and help us out if we had any questions! Last, the parking lot was a mess, we have an SUV and had trouble finding a spot, and it was always packed. Remember to move your car up closer to the building if you can find a closer spot the night before you leave! Makes packing up easier. There is no loading/unloading area.
The Owners of this unit are very accessible ! There was a small problem with the washer, and Ed contacted me prior to our check in to let me know , and apologize. The view and beach access from this unit is amazing !!! The unit is well stocked,comfortable,and beautifully decorated . There is a closet in the entry full of beach toys,chairs, etc., and plenty of beach towels . Also, a beach umbrella is stored under one of the full size beds . So you can don't need to over~pack . We would definitely stay here again !
We had an amazing time at this rental! A very relaxing vacation. October is an offseason so we pretty much had the beach for ourselves. The morning sunrise is spectacular and the morning stroll/jog/run was refreshing. The property is clean, access to the beach is clean, well marked, and the beach itself well maintained. The owner of the property above all made our last minute booking worth every minute its value worth in gold. The communication process with Mr. Ed DeShields? was awesome. if we were to return to South Padre, ce we will love to stay here again!
We had a great experience! The view and access to the beach was wonderful. The owners and property were very prompt with any problems we had with the condo. The condo had everything we needed for the beach. The only negative was when we left our beach towels on the chairs outside when we went to dinner, and they were gone when we came back. Would definitely stay again.
