About the Property
| Tucked Inn was built in 2007 and is filled with beautiful mountain antiques for the interiors. There are two fireplaces--one inside in the main room and one on the screen porch. There are gardens, paths, specific seating areas along the way either to the Creek or to the Garden House (with a small fire pit) and upper gardens. There are two bedrooms upstairs, both with Queen beds and in-suite baths. There is one bedroom downstairs with a King bed and bathroom. The screen porch and dining deck overlook the creek with comfortable seating. The hiking, fishing and canoe areas are nearby. There are excellent restaurants in the town of Highlands and also in areas outside of town. The town of Cashiers is located twenty minutes away with views of Whiteside Mountain along the route. |

This lovely home was the perfect setting for a family get away! It is even more beautiful than the pictures, as it is hard to capture the full setting with beautiful winding gardens front and back with a flowing river or brook in the back, which can be heard throughout the house with back windows open. Jane is a very attentive and gracious host, providing every detail of comfort for her guests and always available for any questions. I highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to the Highlands area!

Really one of the best rentals I have stayed in, and I have stayed in many, as well as being a owner in Hilton head, The home is very well furnished and decorated, its a great house on a great location, and the landscaping is probably as nice as I have ever seen for a vacation home, absolutely beautiful gardens and walkways. Big Creek sits below the house and is usually a roaring cascade, you can sleep with the windows open and enjoy the sound of the water. I would come back, and will recommend this home to anyone.

My wife and I have stayed at Jane's other properties on multiple occasions because the architecture, landscaping, furnishings, and attention to every detail are above and beyond other homes. Tucked Inn was the perfect place to invite two other couples to join us for a few days. There was plenty of firewood for both fireplaces. We loved spending time on the screen porch by the fire and listening to the sound of "Big Creek." The kitchen was well equipped. Everyone commented on how lovely the home was decorated and the landscaping details throughout the property. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed walking through the trails around the property. The home is basically a mile and a half from town where there is wonderful shopping and restaurants. We never go wrong staying in any of Jane's properties, they all feel like home. We can't wait to come back!
We loved staying at "Tucked Inn"! It's an enchanted magical place. The gardens are like a wonder land and there are so many cozy little areas to explore. You can pick a little garden area to sit in and read or just listen to the river and birds. The house is beautiful. The air is sweet. And we love coming here and will be back again! It's a true retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at “ Tucked Inn.” The lovely appointed home was comfortable filled with lots of unexpected supplies. The kitchen, though small, was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed both inside and porch fireplaces. The gardens were beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the sound of the rushing stream down below the backyard.. We look forward to staying at Tucked Inn again.
This home is just beautiful and so convenient to everything in Highlands! Everything about this home is first class! We took both of our Labs and there are trails all over the grounds Which they just loved!The Owner is so easy to work with and was so helpful! Tucked Inn is By far my favorite home I have rented in Highlands!
