Deluxe Ouray Condo 2BR/1BA Along River-Sleeps 4!

This was great spot for our base camp while touring the trails on motorcycle. Large unit and really felt like home.

Perfect size, great patio and close to town. We would definitely stay there again!

We just spent 9 days in the Sunrise Suite 2B/1BA condo and enjoyed the upper deck fabulous views of the mountains as well as the soothing sounds of the river behind us. Everything we needed was just a short walk to the main street for great restaurants, Jeep tours, the hot springs, hiking trails and convenient groceries. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to again in the future!

The property was clean and well cared for... Located in Ouray, CO in the heart of the San Juan mountains. Need I say more?

The front condo was an excellent accommodation. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and easily accessible to everything we needed. There was absolutely no reason to complain. The listing was correct in every detail and we thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. The private deck afforded an excellent view of the fireworks on the 4th and the off street parking was great. This is a fantastic place to stay for a night or a week! We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone! I wouldn't hesitate to call Michael again for a booking in the future.

The rental was ideal for our family (2 adults, one 13-year old, one 12-year old.) When we arrived, Michael was there in a flash to let us in. The open-concept layout of the unit is fantastic. Everything was very clean. The beds are great---not too soft, which is what we prefer. The kitchen was very nicely stocked, including a full array of spices---and there was already ice in the freezer. It would have been nice to have a lid that fit largest skillet, but we improvised and made it work. (The knives need a good sharpening, tho.) We appreciated the location of the rental (walking distance to adorable Ouray), and loved hearing the roaring river behind us. (There was no river access, however; still, it was a treat to hear it.) The internet was excellent and the Direct TV a bonus with several movie channels available. We used the full-size washer and dryer twice---very handy! The patio was awesome, and the propane grill worked without a hitch. (Side note: get groceries north in Montrose or south in Durango. The family-owned grocery store in Ouray has a nice selection, but was [gulp] pricey.) Potential renters should be aware that there is a long, fairly steep iron staircase that takes you up to this particular unit. Not an issue for us, but for young children or seniors it could be tricky. The only downside to the rental was that there was no a.c. We knew this when we booked it, tho, and decided to go for it anyway. But because the rental is on the second floor, and the building itself located at the bottom of a hill, the air moving into it was mininal. Fans were provided, but being from Texas we are accustomed to temperature control, and found ourselves uncomfortably warm after returning from a full day of hiking and sightseeing. Perhaps a window a.c. unit could be installed? Even ceiling fans in the bedrooms would help---no one likes to be too warm when trying to sleep. Just a thought...

Nice place to stay. Will stay there again if in area. Loved the deck and being able to go sit by the river. The only down fall was the stairs getting to the apartment but the deck made it worth the climb.

Very clean, nicely furnished, and great location by the river. The owners are very nice and helpful. Would definitely return!

Overall excellent place to stay. A well appointed condo within walking distance of pretty much everything in the town of Ouray. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals during our stay and the gas grill on the deck was used quite a few times. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely give Wendy and Michael a call should we come back to Ouray in the future.

Great property, great location. Would definitely stay here again! Fourth of July in Ouray is Awesome!!!
