Please be aware we do not advertise on Craigslist. This beautiful lodge-like home in Sugarbush was built in 2000 with all the amenities one could need. It is 6 bedrooms and mile to Sugarbush Base Lodge (Lincoln Peak ) and mile to Sugarbush Golf Course. The house sits on over an acre of wooded land with an easily accessible driveway with ample parking and a heated garage. It is also on a dead-end street, therefore, having very little traffic. Outside there is a fire pit with horseshoes and plenty of grass for playing or sledding. There is a large covered farmers porch off the front of the house with a large 8 person hot tub, wrought iron chairs and table, and a beautiful woodworkers picnic table. In the back off the kitchen is a large back deck with grill and lovely wrought iron table and chairs.
The main floor which has radiant floor heating is comprised of a chefs kitchen, living room, gorgeous dining room for 10, stunning lodge room and one of the two master suites (en-suite bathroom). The kitchen has honed granite countertops, breakfast bar for 5, maple cabinets, Viking stove w/ griddle, Bosch dishwasher, large pantry and all the cooking utensils you could want. The kitchen has a 20-inch flat-screen. The lodge room with vaulted beam ceilings has two huge distinct sitting rooms - one facing a 55 LED flat screen and one facing a beautiful floor to ceiling fireplace. This room also has an awesome shuffleboard table. The master suite on this floor has a queen bed and 32-inch flat-screen. As mentioned, off the kitchen is a deck with a dining set and a large gas grill and off the front is the farmer's porch.
The second floor has 3 additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom is another master suite with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom and a 32-inch flat-screen. The second bedroom has two twin log cabin beds and a third bedroom has 3 Pottery Barn twin platform beds.
The walkout basement, which also has radiant floor heating, contains a large mudroom, a full bath and laundry room (with a brand new Whirlpool front loading washer and dryer), a family room with 54-inch flat-screen, a foosball table plus two additional bedrooms one is a king (which can be converted to twins) and the other contains 2 twins. And there is a third mattress available if you wanted to add a third twin bed to one of the bedrooms. The cedar closet on that floor contains additional lines.
Enjoy Sugarbush South (Lincoln Peak), Sugarbush North (Mt Ellen), Mad River Glenn, Sugarbushs Robert Trent Jones. Sr. Golf Course, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, kayaking, snowmobiling and more.

staying in ski houses in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, California, Vermont, and New Hampshire. This house blew away anything we have stayed in previously. The pictures just do not do it justice. Less than a mile from the ski area parking lot but nestled away so there is no traffic, this huge home housed a good portion of my family for my cousin's wedding just weeks ago. We were five couples who were able to have privacy when we wanted it and gather in the comfortably laid out and massive Dining/Kitchen/Sitting area as well. Not to mention the large and comfortable hot tub, spectacular master bath (very nice stonework), and radiant heat floors to keep us cozy on snowy 0 degrees F nights. The extra tall heated garage allowed some of my aging family (they'd kill me if they saw I wrote that) to drive their massive SUV directly into and unload from. To be honest, we probably could have fit 4 cars into it if we had to. The kitchen had everything a family needs, the basement had a big flat screen with a Wii (we enjoyed a few sets of bowling for the family) and Donna took care of us by setting up some beds which were regularly twins as queens/kings. Even with 10 people, this house had plenty of room to spare. I give it an unwavering recommendation and plan to stay here again in the future.
We stayed at Donna's place for our annual golf outing and it was the perfect home base for our group of 12. It is even better in person than what you see in the pictures. The house is in emaculate condition with state of the art appliances and lots of comfortable areas to lounge and relax. We made good use of the great room where we had shuffleboard tournaments. The hot tub is top notch and the perfect way to end a day of golf. The Sugarbush golf course is conveniently a short drive down the street. We hope to return for another stay in the future!
We rented this property for Columbus Day to celebrate my Dad's 75th. It was a big family get together and the property was great. Big kitchen and eating area as well as a lot of sitting area and entertainment options (shuffleboard table, TV, hot tub, etc.). Plus it was a good location, close to Sugarbush resort and restaurants. We had a great time and would definitely consider going back in the future.
I did my homework on the area and the many houses that surrounded it and I settled on Donna's. Ladies and gentleman, this house is perfect in so many ways. Pictures cannot due justice of just how much room the house actually has. I had 13 people all between the ages of 24-31 stay in the house. It fit everyone comfortably with no issues. The "Great Room" (Shuffleboard, fireplace, etc.) was the place my crew and I spent the most time. Also, brand new for December 2014 is a state of the art hot tub. We fit 6 people comfortably in there. We incorporated family dinners every night as well and with top notch appliances (Viking Stove, Bosh dishwasher + Bosh laundry units), everything was easy. Sugarbush Ski Resort is 1/4 away along with any other hidden gems. Upon reservation completion, Donna sends you a list of spots (restaurants, bars and activities) incase you have never been here. I visited the the "Castlerock Pub" and "Timbers"…both great spots at the resort right down then street. I have been here before before so my crew and I also hiked some trails near Blueberry Lake and stopped at the Warren waterfalls. With a nice cozy house and fire every night, this weekend was a perfect weekend getaway for my crew and I from Boston, MA. Will rent again! Thanks Donna.
We were a group of 9 from 2 families who stayed over the Christmas break and the house was a perfect fit for us. The house is exceptionally appointed with a high end kitchen, cozy furnishings and a spectacular lodge room complete with fireplace that's perfect for apres-ski. We had 2 ensuite masters for the adults and enough bedrooms for the kids to spread out and get away from each other as needed to "keep the peace". The house is 2 minutes from the parking lot and we were on the slopes less than 10 minutes from pulling out of the largest 2 car garage I've ever been in that easily fits a large SUV with a ski rack. This house was a perfect fit!
