Charming Log House Steps Away from Boyne River Footage with enhanched cleaning. Property overview

I had very high expectations for this cabin based on the pictures and info and they were exceeded. Such a beautiful setting and awesome location. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We will be going back.

Not only was the property as described, Joanne was incredible to communicate with. My family appreciated the cozy feeling that Joanne has put into the property. If we are graced with more time with one of our family members that was with us on this trip, we’d love to go back!! Thank you!

My family (wife and two young kids) and parents stayed at the cabin for three nights in August. It really is a great space--the boys had the upstairs as their "apartment" which has two beds and a full (though only a bath, no shower) bathroom, as well as a sitting area where they could hang out. The main floor has two fine sized bedrooms and a good sized full bath. The whole place has amazing skylights and woodwork. The basement is also fun with an air hockey table, ping pong table, and dart boards. Also, a nice bonus is there is a spacious full bath in the basement too. Everything in the house is in good shape and clean. It's kind of "in the middle of nowhere" meaning it's at least a few/several miles to things to do (Boyne Mountain, Boyne City downtown), but a good central location for us as we went all over northern Michigan (Sleeping Bear, Petoskey, Mackinaw). Overall, this place is an excellent option for a rural Northern Michigan get away.

One the cleanest, well maintained, stocked properties we have every stayed! The owners thought of everything, inside & out, this cabin has it all! The location is fantastic..close to several cities/towns, nestled next to the woods with the river adjacent, it offered the best of everything. We never stay at the same property twice, but would definitely stay here again. Joanne was easy to work with. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

The cabin was as described. We had some slight miscommunication via a typo in the agreement that caused some slight issues after our stay. However, it was resolved and it was overall a great stay.

This is our second time staying at this property and we hope to stay again next year. This gorgeous log home is very cozy and tastefully decorated. Only minutes to Boyne Mountain for skiing and Boyne City restaurants. Great for our family to reconnect while enjoying a warm fire and playing cards in the evening. The property is gorgeous and for the second year we had the pleasure of seeing deer in the yard. The pictures are great but this one is even better in person. We highly recommend this property.

This cabin was absolutely amazing! It had everything we asked for and more! The cabin was beautifully decorated and had all the necessities for a weekend getaway. It was so peaceful and relaxing. And you couldn't ask for a better location! Only 5 minutes from Boyne Ski Resort! Joanne was very responsive to emails as well. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Our 8 year old grandson said it best when he said he dreamed about "our cabin in the woods" and loved waking up there in the morning. Everything is thoughtfully laid out. We truly enjoyed our vacation weekend!

This home is BEAUTIFUL! Pictures do not do it justice at all. Absolute perfect location, minutes from Boyne Mountain/Avalanche Bay (where we went) and a quick 15 minutes into Petoskey. The house is beautiful, well stocked. The beds were actually comfortable and super cozy to sleep in. Highly recommend this home and we will definitely stay here again.

A wonderful home! Spacious with many amenities! If you forgot any toiletries, there were complimentary ones for you in the bathrooms. The kids enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey tables. There was many activities to do in the surrounding communities. I would highly recommend this property to others! Thanks Joanne!
