About the Property
| We are across the street from Charlestown beach. Newer construction. We are located across the street from 7 miles of ocean beach, also in our backyard is Ninigret Pond. If staying a week or more call for better rates during the period of October through March. Cottage has the 'wow' factor when you walk in. This is not your typical cottage, ocean views and pond views. Cross the street and walk 300' to ocean or Ninigret Pond. We have 1980sq ft, hardwoods throughout the house, and a washer/dryer. We have a full house filtration system with UV and an additional kitchen sink filtration system, so the water you drink goes through 6 filters and a UV before it reaches your glass. A large screened-in porch which acts as an extension to living room. Decks on the front of the house (ocean side) and in the rear, pond views. We have two suites, the ocean facing suite is what you'd expect of a grand suite, king size bed, private bath, walk-in closet, 5ft shower stall and a private deck. There is a second suite, pond facing, which has a deck and large full bath, this room has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has a full size bed with twin bed above it.There is a full size Murphy bed, on the first floor. We are on stilts. We have a full service kit. Plenty of parking, House is insulated with closed cell insulation wall, floors and cap. Which keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Chill and Relax: Go home with great memories! More information; Full walk-in pantry to store all your items and keep kitchen more organized for your stay. Keep a/c on or open sliders, to a full screened in deck. The cross ventilation is amazing. Sunsets visible from decks (front and back) and from windows. List of important amenities: Location!!! New Construction (8 years young) walk-way to the beach is 300' to the left of house; Temperpedic mattresses; Central Air; surround sound,hardwoods throughout the house, No rugs, no musty smell; Hardwoods everywhere ; All new appliances;including washer and dryer (detergent for washer and dishwasher will be supplied) well thought-out design; 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, plus an outside shower; large decks off both sides of house,decks off both second floor bedrooms as well. Flat screen TV in living room, Grand suite with a king size bed, 2nd suite queen bed, WIFI. If flying in and you have special requests, just ask, all reasonable requests will be honored. |

My husband and I recently stayed in the beautiful house with our family. The house had all the amenities that we were looking. Our favorite part was the screened in porch that we had breakfast on each morning. Even though the beach was on the other side of the road we still had a great view. We also took full advantage of the canoes provided that we used in the pond area. I would recommend renting this property to family. We only found one small drawback and that the noise from the road was a little disruptive if you left the sliders open in the morning.
I've stayed at this cottage a couple of times. It is beautiful and equipped with everything you need! Everything!! The location is great and the beach is beautiful! I especially love the porch that overlooks the ocean and the wonderful view of the sunset from the back deck! The owner is wonderful and very helpful if you need anything or have questions. She always responds quickly. Can't wait to return next summer!

We loved our week at this wonderful beach house. The location was great, just a two minute walk to beach access. The house was charming. Very clean with many amenities. The front screened in porch was wonderful, and the back deck was perfect for watching the sunset. Linda was very responsive and helpful.
This property is everything we had hoped for and more. Linda was so friendly and welcoming, the house was immaculate and such an easy walk to the beach. It was a true joy to stay here. We are hoping to rent again next year.
The house was beautiful and spacious. There were plenty of sleeping space for all of our guests. It was very clean. Right across from the beach and had gorgeous views. Linda was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Wonderful place to stay.
Wonderful
This location was perfect for our 3-generation family pod! Easy to safely distance from other vacationers in this well-appointed house with multiple decks affording varied views. Activities for everyone: access to residents-only beach area, steps to kayak launch at Ninigret Pond, biking, sunset walks; and no need to eat out with fresh produce and fish nearby.
We had a great time. It was perfect for my family of four. Provides all of the amenities that one would want in a beach house. Very nice and helpful owner.

Newer Construction, 300' to Access of Beach/Ocean/ 300' access to Ninigrit pond We had a wonderful visit this past (Halloween) weekend to Linda's beautiful beach house! The house was spacious, immaculate, and had everything we needed! Linda was so attentive and helpful throughout the whole process- from our last-minute booking to our departure, she was always available if we had any questions. The master suite on the second floor was divine and I loved bundling up and enjoying my coffee every morning while watching and listening to the waves crashing across the street. Having the extra sleeping space with the Murphy bed was a huge bonus for us as was having full bathrooms available on all levels of the home. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and the living space had plenty of room for the adults to relax and for our busy toddler to run around. Access to the private beach is a short walk down the road and we enjoyed going for walks, searching for sea glass, and watching the sandpipers running along the beach. We even saw a seal swimming in the waves! It was the perfect weekend away during a stressful time (Covid), and Linda has gone above and beyond to ensure that her guests are able to safely enjoy their time at her home. Thank you, Linda!
