About the Property
Let the fun begin here! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Steps to all the pleasures of the gas lit streets and Victorian homes in Cape May and West Cape May. This large, renovated, cozy and bright 3 story Victorian will be your home away from home with all the comforts you need including two zone C/A & heat. This home sleeps 8-12 with 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 2 half baths, hardwood floors, ceramic tile, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The first floor consists of 2 living rooms with a queen size sofa bed in one of the living rooms, a large kitchen with seating for 10, a master bedroom with a king size bed and a private bath, a laundry room and mahogany porches in the front and on the side of the house. The second floor consists of a master bedroom with a queen size bed and a private bath, a second bedroom with a queen size bed, a full bathroom, a kitchenette with seating for 6 and a second floor screened mahogany porch on the side of the house. The third floor consists of 2 bedrooms with a total of 3 single beds, a half bath and a living area with a full size sofa bed. All rooms have flat screen TVs. There is also a front and rear yard and in the rear yard there is a BBQ grill, an outside shower, a clothes line and a bike garage which houses twelve bikes (9 adult & 3 children) and additional beach chairs for use in the yard or at the beach. You will find that this fantastic house is an easy walk to Broadway Beach, Grant Street Beach and The Cove. Public restrooms and a snack bar are located at Broadway Beach but Grant Street Beach and The Cove offer privacy and a magnificent view of the lighthouse. And, for your convenience, 6 beach chairs and 2 beach blankets are stored in a Beach Box at Broadway Beach and are available for your use from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The property was well kept and well groomed. My first impression was the beautiful historical experience. The rooms were beautiful and clean and they were also sprayed with disinfectant for Covid .. this gave me a sense of comfort just knowing that the owners cared about our safety . We had bikes to ride for everyone that stayed with us on vacation. Bikes in all sizes . A grill to cook on outside ..We also had a beach box at the beach which was very convenient because all the chairs and beach blankets and toys for the kids were in the beach box ( no carrying our stuff to the beach everyday ) We had the option of renting sheets and towels for the week which was excellent because we didn’t have to carry them on vacation with us .. The place was comfortable and clean .. Our family will definitely be staying at this historical hone again in Cape May ! Thank you for the beautiful experience in Cape May !!!
Couldn't be happier with our stay at Sea Horse this summer! The place was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Loved having the bikes available and the beach box is super convenient. Loved that everything was within walking distance and really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch every evening. There was great communication with the owners prior to our stay, which made everything seamless. Looking forward to our next stay!
We stay at this house every year. The new owner is great! The previous owners were great too! The owner responds quickly if you have any questions. House is wonderful. Also, they have a beach box and bicycles for you to ride.
The sea horse cottage is a true getaway. Tucked away on an idllic little street in west cape may you are transported back in time. The house is meticulously kept and has everything you need at your finger tips. The beach a mere 10 minute walk with children and the morning routine down to the ocean was a wonderful way to start our day. The beach box provided allowed us to never feel that we needed to bring anything else down to the water besides ourselves, a towel, and a book. The house provides a nook for everyone to have time to themselves but also the ability to hang out as a family. The hidden game closet was such a wonderful find and provided hours of fun. I couldn't recommend this house higher. If you are a family looking for a vacation to simply relax but yet be near it all this is the home for you.
