Our family cannot express how wonderful our stay was in this beautiful home. It was clean, beautifully decorated, stocked with everything needed for a large family and also providing comfortable beds. The view of the lake is breathtaking. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and kayaking. Lk. Placid is a darling town with Sebring 18 minutes away, offering the larger chain stores. We have stayed in many vacation homes over the years and must say, this was our favorite. The Carringer family

I was looking for a quiet fishing escape near Tampa and that's what I found it this Lake Placid waterfront home. My goal was to fish and relax but it rained the entire time. We didn't get to fish but we had a great time. We will be going back soon.
2nd time on this property as we found it to be very good for the price. This time, we were only 4 people and had a great time again going around and resting by the beautiful lake Francis.
The property is amazing and the owner is helpful and attentive. We don’t have anything negative to say about it. It was great from start to finish.
We have discovered Lake Placid and we are in love! This is our third time travelling there, we decided to go the weekend to celebrate father's day and we were so lucky to find Jonathan's house. We found out we were his first renters, it was really a priviledge. The house is so beautiful, huge spaces, extraordinary views and taken cared to the very detail. Pictures don't do justice to the beauty of the house, the lake, the stately trees... The kitchen and the house in general is well stocked, a guest doesn't need to worry about anything but to have a great time. We did swim in the lake, there is a sandbar just in front of the dock which make it so enjoyable! There is a white egret that comes by and stands still until it gets a hot dog, it is hilarous, my nephew had a great time feeding it (we were advised by Jonathan the bird likes hot dogs..lol). Thanks for sharing your home with us, we are already looking forward to come back!
