The Lakeview

Stay was pretty great. View was great, a lot of amenities. 10mins from the grocery store. Great host! Fire pit was nice, but be careful when walking around it at night, holes between the rocks.

Had a great time! Cottage and property are beautiful. Listing is somewhat misleading. Photos show more water toys than what are actually included. Listing mentioned a canoe which was not there. Price is a little steep considering the lack of amenities (you have to bring your own dish soap, garbage bags, hand towels, etc). Dishes are provided but guests are responsible for washing them, so a lot of them are pretty dirty/gross. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We arrived to find no paddle boat, kayak or canoe, the propane tank for the BBQ missing and the wifi (and TV) out. We contacted the owner who categorized this as a hiccup and promised to make it right. The next day we were told that we could go pick up the canoe, kayak and paddleboat at the property next door but they hoped we had brought our own life jackets. (We hadnt as life jackets usually come with the boat) The propane tank was delivered in time for dinner. The wifi service was not restored at any pont during our stay. To note: none of the windows, including those in the bedrooms and bathroom shower have blinds. We were asked to bring toilet paper, soap and towels despite the listing stating that they would be available. We checked out a day early and requested compensation. We did not receive any.

Super clean and modern place with a perfect picturesque view from the dining room! My family had a great time relaxing and recharging. The internet was down during our stay because of a big storm but we quickly got in contact with Jeremy and he kindly reimbursed us for a hotspot. Loved taking the canoe out on the lake! A bit steep to get down to the dock, but nice lounge chairs in the yard to enjoy the view! We had a fantastic time!

Great cottage! Nice and cozy but modern with all the amenities you’d need. Jeremy was a super host with great communication from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back for our next visit :)

Beautiful quiet location, very private! Lake is beautiful and its a quick drive to town!

Fantastic cottage! The large fire pit and large windows overlooking the lake make this a really special spot. We had a lot of fun on the floating trampoline. Jeremy was very responsive and a great host.

There are lots of barbeque tools, cutlery and dishes provided. The cottage is right by the water, but just know that the lake isn't swimmable. There is a paddle boat, water trampoline, canoe and a rentable motorboat to use on the water. The fire pit is beautiful with lots of seating. The air conditioning was fantastic. The host responded to our messages. There were wasps building a nest located inside the top left hand side of the front door. Jeremy offered quick solutions to this and offered to pay for raid to try and deal with them. We didn't have access to the internet during our stay. There was dried blood on one of the comforters. Among the list of things that were said to be provided (that were in fact not provided) were toilet paper, a microwave, seasonings and room darkening shades. We were refunded based on the aforementioned issues. We would also like to mention that during our stay in August, the mosquitoes were relentless.

Jeremy's cottage was lovely; he has done an excellent job with this property! It was clean when we arrived, and had a wonderful weekend stay. My only comment about booking this place is the lake is not swimmable. If that is something you want to do, just note that you will have to drive a short distance to another area.
