Only wanted to stay a few days while in town visiting family, but after seeing the cottage in person decided to stay 10 days. Excellent location, very private and peaceful, tastefully decorated. Will consider staying there again the next time I'm in town visiting.
One of my sons and I visited South Carolina to view the solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. We stayed three nights at the property. The cottage was very pretty both inside and out. It is a well maintained property and very well appointed and furnished. The property has every convenience that you could want and the owner was very easy to deal with and very concerned about our having a good time while staying at the property. The property is located about 26 miles from downtown Greenville, SC, and is accessible by either using the interstate highway system or a combination of state routes. The village of Landrum does have some restaurants and the property is located within walking distance of these restaurants. This property is ideal for either a business trip to Greenville or a romantic get away for a weekend. It would also be good for a family vacation since you could sleep the parents in the master bedroom which has a king sized bed and two children in the bedroom which has two queen sized beds. I cannot recommend this property enough.
This is a great location to explore Landrum, Saluda, Tryon and even Greenville, Asheville, Hendersonville areas. Cottage is beautiful and has everything you need. We went to Tryon International Equestrian Center early on Saturday and back for Saturday Night Lights. It was out first visit there and such a treat. Be sure to check it out. It was a unbelievable facility. Great restaurants in Landrum. We will book again.
Just a lovely, comfortable, and impeccably appointed and beautifully kept Home. Couldn’t have been a more pleasant and welcoming stay. Thank You!
Our stay was great! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed to have a great Thanksgiving!
Lovely, cozy cottage that provides a great home base for exploring the NC/SC Mountains.
We came into town for a horse show and loved staying at this beautifully decorated cottage. We will definitely book it again!
We rented this cottage because our daughter was getting married at the historic Landrum train depot which is located about 5 minutes from the cottage. The interior was beautifully decorated and the perfect backdrop for the pre-wedding pictures. The outside porch had rocking chairs and pots with flowers scattered around. There was plenty of parking. The owner kindly allowed us to check in at any time on Friday and check out at any time on Sunday. She called to make sure that we had arrived and that everything was satisfactory. Would definitely recommend this rental.
We stayed in this lovely cottage while in Tryon for a horse show. We LOVED it. Very well built, big comfortable beds, nice kitchen. Close to all shops and restaurants in downtown Tryon. The owners were super nice and easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again!
Could not have been better!
