The cabin was located off the main highway so there were no windy mountain roads to maneuver. The cabin is in a valley, but the cabin was surrounded by mountains. The cabin itself was lovely. The family room was cozy. We loved the couch and love seat that turned into lounge chairs! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners. The beds were the most comfortable beds we ever slept in. After cutting down our Christmas tree on a rainy cold day, the hot tub was glorious! The cabin is conveniently 8 miles from Blue Ridge and 11 miles from Blairsville. A few miles outside Blairsville is Vogel State Park. We found a waterfall that was fantastic. Laura, the owner was SO accommodating. She answered all our questions almost immediately. I could tell that she wanted our stay to be special. We hope to come back to the cabin in warmer weather so we can enjoy fishing on creek located on the property. Thank you Laura for sharing your cabin.
We stayed at the cabin for our anniversary. Everything was neat, clean and comfortable. We plan to try and return in the spring, the weather in December was very rainy, cold and dreary, however the warmth of the fireplace made it cozy. The one drawback to the cabin was the handicap accessibility. The steps at front door and garage entrance and no handrails in downstairs bathroom made it difficult for my husband who uses a walker. We did enjoy our stay and Thank you Laura. Susan B.
We had one of the most relaxing getaways ever. The home and property are impeccable and accommodating. We will be back.
Cabin is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed our Christmas vacation at the cabin. Laura was quick to reply to questions. Beds are incredibly comfortable!!!
Great two night stay at this property. Arrived after dark, was a bit tricky to find the exact location. Rained the entire time we were there, but the covered hot tub, and garage made the rain a non-issue! A wonderful winter getaway, and a very comfortable and attractive property.
Had a wonderful time Beautiful cabin
Stayed for four nights. Very nice cabin it was very clean with a great yards for the kids to play. The creek and fire pit are a plus.
Great place and a great time. Perfect weekend getaway.
The cabin was amazing and we loved it! I would highly recommend.
This is our second visit to the cabin in the last 2 months. We just love. It's only a short distance off the highway, We didn't have to worry about mountain roads just in case it snowed. We did get to see the snow. I hadn't seen snow in 30 years! It was wonderful having a gas fireplace. We didn't have to worry about putting wood on the fire. The cabin is so cozy with super comfortable furniture in living room and no words can describe how comfortable the beds are! My son sat in hot tub and watched the snow
Cabin was spotless. Pictures were exactly what we got. We loved the hot tub. We will definitely be back. Laura was great to work with. Thanks Laura for a great weekend. Barry
Arrived to a beautiful log cabin located on a mountain valley meadow. Walked inside to more beauty and great furnishing. We felt like we were at home the entire stay. Beautiful wrap around porch with a paved walkway down to a trout stream. Fire pit and covered seating to enjoy the stream slowly rolling by. If you looking for a place to relax and refresh your soul, this could be the place for you. Definitely on our list to stay again.
