The sunroom house was beautiful. Great views of the ocean and the steam shower was a real treat. Elsie was a great host and checked in on us several times.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunhouse. The host, Elsie and Ken, gave us excellent tips for local coves and vistas. The views from every room looking into the ocean were beautiful and the the terrace was the perfect place for a morning meal. The steam room was a great way to unwind and the heaven shower was just that. A real pleasure to visit Gualala and chill out.
The new name should be Sunroom in the Sea house. Super cool, all “ocean” inside decorations and decor. Everything is ocean/maritime/seaside stuff. We counted 13 lighthouses alone. From the tall one that marks the driveway to the checkers set of sailboats vs. lighthouses. Just really fun and neat. Plenty of reading, boardgames, binoculars, dvd’s, etc.. for entertainment. The Sunroom name is very apropos. It’s really comfy. The proximity to town makes it awesome. The steam shower is 6*. The only thing that prevents this from being a 6* value is it’s a long way to a beach you can walk on. Like you’ll probably want to drive. That said, the sounds and view from the deck may keep you from getting to the beach altogether. As advertised. Really cool place just several hundred feet from the water. Easily watch the waves or listen to the ocean as you lounge, relax or even whilst in bed.. Great location to town. The hosts are SUPER nice. Super. Like over the top. It’s sincere too.
Elsie the host was super friendly and communicative. The view of the ocean from the house was amazing (almost a full 180 degree view from the sunroom and deck).
