Cheryl and her beautiful house made this Airbnb experience exceed my expectations for comfort and hospitality. Cheryl is quick to communicate and really went the extra mile to help us prepare and feel at home. I loved the quiet neighborhood, it's an easy drive from lots of good food. The house is beautiful, sparkling clean, and surprisingly cozy-feeling for its size. Cheryl wanted to make sure we were warm and that the house was quiet and we experienced no problems at all. The kitchen was fully equipped to handle cooking for a big family, the beds and couches were comfortable, there's plenty of space for hanging out between the first floor and basement, and there was a seemingly never-ending supply of clean towels. I can't thank you enough, Cheryl. My family will never forget this trip.
Great house for a large family. Great location. Great porch and yard. Very well-equipped kitchen and dining room. And the piano was a delightful bonus for family sing-alongs and general entertainment. The house itself is a beautiful turn-of-the (last) century Arts and Crafts style house, with the quirks and squeaks and odd noises to be expected of an old (but charming) house. The heating system noise was a real problem that disturbed our sleep. Cheryl seemed genuinely surprised and upset to hear that and said that it hadn’t been a problem before. She will, we expect, have it fixed. (She lives in the house when it’s not rented).
Cheryl’s house was beautiful and easily fit our extended family of 9 adults and 3 young children. We had everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The front porch was especially delightful and we spent most of our time lounging out there. Cheryl was very accommodating and let us stay a bit late when one of the babies was still napping at checkout time. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We rented Cheryl's home for my son's wedding. He married a hometown girl and we are all from Chicago and wanted to feel like a family during this major family event. Cheryl's home and hospitality was spectacular! She immediately offered anything and everything to make sure we had a great family time. Her home is full of love and helped us feel a bit like being "home" for our son's wedding.
A wonderful, stylishly decorated home that welcomes you as soon as you enter the door. Great location as it's very near the train station to NY.
This house is beautiful and warm. We rented the whole house for a family weekend when we were celebrating my dad‘s 90th birthday. Everything was perfect and the house is conducive to great meals and conversation. A gorgeous neighborhood. Cheryl is so kind and generous.
Cheryl is a great host. She was attentive and took care of our needs. The house is fabulous if you need to accommodate extended family. Please work with Cheryl on parking on the street, trash disposal. Please be respectful of her place as she trusts that you will take good care of it.
Our large and extended family stayed at Cheryl's for my father's memorial service. It was comfortable, spacious, attractive and cozy. Great kitchen and dining room for big family dinners and cooking. Cheryl was so attentive and flexible and made our stay that much more pleasant.
A lovely stay, Cheryl's home is very spacious and successfully accommodated everyone in my very large family. It's in a lovely quiet community, not far from shops and restaurants. Overall, a wonderful stay!
